Italian Pasto
t’s my dear mum’s birthday today and the whole family had dinner at Pasto at El Pueblo.
I think I got my “Italian taste buds” from my mother. Like me, she also loves Italian food – pesto, pomodoro, crostinis, paninis etc. I remember her whipping up fancy italian dishes when I still lived at my parents’ house. I have no doubt she is still doing it right now.
HOWTO: setting up a blog
with the rise in number of pinoy blogs popping up left and right, it is only assumed that setting up a brand new blog is as easy as A-B-C… we often forget that there are newbies who don’t have the faintest idea on how to start setting it up… so, how do you start a new blog??
there are several things you have to take into consideration and options you can choose from like software to use, server, hosting, blog genre, etc, etc… but first things first… what is a blog??
a blog is short for weblog, an online journal [or diary or newsletter] that may or may not be frequently updated, where the author posts informal journals: his/her thoughts, comments, and philosophies… it can be private or public… it can be a group blog, or a blog all your own…

No wine and no roses
I read something about marriage and how Will Smith feels about it in a post in this Blog.
Apparently, he was interviewed by Reader’s Digest and one of the topics they discussed in the interview was his relationship with Jada, his wife.
I don’t want to say that its rare for people in showbiz-ness to display that kind of commitment as that would be discriminating so let me just point out that separation and divorce nowadays is highly common. So common it is that it makes you think that couples go into a relationship with the notion that it would only be temporary.
I remember when Christians rocked my music…
Ten years ago, the kind of music I enjoyed were the type that you swayed to, or listened to in bars, or jumped to with the lead vocalists screaming voice. The first time I became aware that there was such a thing called “Christian Rock” was the time I lived in the states. It’s quite a big thing there.
Initially, I imagined the music to be those I heard sang in churches and during mass. But I found myself singing to one of those songs while driving in the interstate. My roomie told me it was sang by a group called Jars of Clay. It turned out they were on tour and had a concert near our place and my friend wanted to go. And so we did.
Skype 3.0 now available
The latest version of Skype 3.0 can now be downloaded. On my other blog TechAtHand the details were discussed. According to skype they have added Public chats, Extras and an improved interface are all new in the latest version of Skype. And More Extra addons. They have also included some tools for business. This another advantage for us Skype users who benefit a lot from VOIP. I am still on search for other program like this aside from Yahoo Messenger, and MSN chat would you suggest another VOIP Program that will be helpful for me.
Chef D’ Angelo feeds hungry bloggers
A plan had been formed for several bloggers (mostly from the lucky table) to meet and eat at Chef D Angelo at Greenbelt 1.
The strategy was to come early before the lunch crowd arrived so me and hubby were there a bit past 11:30am. The resto was small, like its other branches in Glorietta and Galleria. The place cramped the cafeteria-style tables too close together that once seated you would have to be able to fly to get out.
There was a notice in their menu (McDo-style) that their servings were made for 2-3 people. Good! My stomach was complaining already. We ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and an all-meat pizza.

but whatever the case, may it be mayor or congressman, there’s only one thing i, and millions of other Filipinos who truly admire you and care for you, can say: PLEASE DON’T RUN!!
