An inch short of a fantasy vacation

Last weekend, our team went on our annual summer outing. As most other companies do, a beach resort almost always is involved in the trip.

I am not here though to share with you the bikini lines, the sunburns, the ocean blue or the white sand of the resort that we went to. I would rather share an interesting experience with the food that was served to us by the resort.

It seems that technology is catching up with the 2007 elections. No, the elections will not be automated. It is more of technology playing a role in campaigning and awareness. We have heard that Chiz Escudero has setup his own friendster account, and even have an official site. Even the GO Party has its own website/blog.

The Bonjing and His Pop

I had one of the most toxic duties yesterday, not because of the difficulty of the cases but because of the volume of patients seen and the degree of which each patient demanded attention.

A person I recall the fastest is actually a patient’s father. His quirkiness arrived late in the morning with his 27-year old, able-bodied son. He spoke with a slurred authoritative tone.

Nagsimba ka na ba ha (Did you hear mass already)?” He asked me and the entire ER staff.

What is a Tumbleblog?

A couple days ago, I came across something new called a tumbleblog. It’s the first time for me to read or hear about it. So I did some research and this is what I found out about tumbleblogs.

A tumblelog is a variation of a blog, that favors short-form, mixed-media posts over the longer editorial posts frequently associated with blogging. Common post formats found on tumblelogs include links, photos, quotes, dialogues, and video.
