My Adsense Check Has Been Stolen
I’ve first heard the horror stories about these lost AdSense checks from Marc’s blog last year. During that time, I already received my first AdSense check but I haven’t deposited it yet. And when I finally decided to open a dollar account with Banco De Oro, I was required to submit several IDs, Billing Statements, and other documents supporting my identity.
I thought that it was safe for me to choose regular postal mail since the checks are in US Dollars. Depositing and en cashing dollar checks are more difficult than checks in peso, and so I thought it was. I was wrong.
What I did to get a higher ranking at Technorati?
I’ve been blogging at Culture Shiok! for more than a month now. It’s only been a month and yet I can no longer remember where I learned about Technorati and how I started to get links. I do remember quite vividly that I reviewed John Chow’s blog to get a link in return. I think that got me addicted to increasing my ranking. I started getting some ranking buttons from Philippine blog listings: Top Pinoy Blogs, Pinoy Top Blogs, Pinoy Blogs, Pinoy Top 100 and Blog Junkie. I also solicited links from other bloggers. I got listed in several blog directories (they don’t give links though). I signed up for Philippine blog aggregators PinoyBlog: The Philippines According to Blogs and Pinoy Blogosphere. I also joined Promote Your Site and bla.st. From 2.6 millionth when I started, now I’m ranked 83,319th by Technorati. Not so bad for a starter like me. What do you think? Read more

we weren’t supposed to blog about this as yet, but since it is now all over the blogosphere thanks to Yuga and Jayvee, the Philippine Blog Awards 2007 has now a place where we can do the awards night on March 31, 2007… yep, you heard it right, on March 31, bloggers from all over [from the metro, at least…] will all troop to the RCBC Plaza Auditorium in Ayala Avenue, which will start at 5pm…
Vitamin Supplements Can Harm You
What’s your vitamin cocktail?
Most patients would come to me to the clinic asking which vitamin supplements are best for them. Try as I might to explain that these supplements aren’t really as important as having adequate nutrition and exercise, they’re still stubborn as to taking these drugs. I just realized that most people wanted to have healthier lives the easy way: Pop this vitamin and wham! You’re on your way to a healthy life (sounds like a commercial, doesn’t it?)! They’d rather spend that much on vitamins than spend it on gym membership or to buying healthier foods.
Perhaps this is one study that can help my patients see that there are only specific indications for using these vitamin supplements:

do you see that banner up there?? that is the latest shot of the whole family, shot just today, 01 March 2007 over at Payon… missing is the patriarch of the family, -=Prince Arthas=- … he was the first ever character i ever made since the Beta days of pRO… i actually started playing around June of 2003 (??) but i am not really sure of this… does anybody know when Loki was 1st put online?? i was one of the firsts to migrate to Loki when it was put online… he was a knight then with normal knight abilities… was, because he was since hack-deleted…
Philippine Blog Awards Acceptance Speech
The Philippine Blog Awards has extended the deadline of submission of entries from February 28 to March 4. I will be helping out at the awards night on March 31, if you call being a nuisance “help”. I hear there are a lot of nominees in the Personal Category, but I have no idea as I haven’t personally seen the list yet. I’ve planned on submitting my site, but I’m too lazy and…scared? I’ve never taken interest in these sort of things – ever – before the Blog Parteeh last January. I haven’t even joined contests anywhere in the blogosphere *coughs*SOTM*coughs*, so it would be totally crazy of me to start with this one prestigious awards. And when I say “prestigious”, I mean it’s prestigious. I cannot stress this enough. Judges are all respected and experts in their chosen field/s. Wow.

many of you don’t know that i have been a long time player of one of the largest MMORPG particularly here in the Philippines… i have had several posts regarding that here in this blog already, but not so much as to totally make this a game blogger’s blog…

Fried rice and scrambled eggs
I saw my mom one afternoon sleeping, tired. We had no electricity that time and it was so hot that day. Mama was lying on bed, tired, and I could see perspiration dripping down on her forehead… I just stopped at our bedroom door staring at her… “Kapoy na kaayo si mama…” was on my thoughts and I can still remember how I felt that afternoon. I felt like I was not helping her much and I thought I had to do something for her.
