Youtube Banned in Thailand

Thailand’s military controlled government has just banned youtube to all Thailand IPs (or users).

The news, featured in NYTimes and Yahoo, described the reason for the ban was because of a video that showed offensive material about their King, Bhumibol Adulyadej. In that video, the king is shown with clown features painted onto his face and an image of feet pasted over his head, an insulting gesture in Thailand.
