Will you quit your dream job because you hate your boss?

A number of articles have been written (and published) tackling the subject of dealing with an overly demanding boss, or an overly difficult boss. And ALL these articles provide suggestions, and tips to help you deal with these people. Let me rephrase - all these articles provide suggestions, and tips to help you deal with difficult people (and not just your boss). I have read several of them. I even took to heart some of these author’s recommendations.

You see, in our workplace, you really cant choose who you work with. You can choose not to work with them however - meaning you can either resign, or request for a transfer. I have had a number of staff come to me with diatribes about their supervisors or their co-workers. They often express desires to resign because of the effect these people have on them and their performance at work.

    well, i won’t. you need to learn how to deal with difficult co-workers (which i will post later for the benefit of those who are in the same case). i am on the same situation right now. i rant about it sometimes but if you have a goal, all barriers become irrelevant.

    I agree. ive been through 3 difficult “bosses” in my career and i can only say if not for them, i wouldnt be as good as i am now. ;)
