Free Advice to the Losing Senatoriables’ Political Ads
I don’t care how much that TV is worth as long as it could flush out all the crap out of my daily viewing pleasure then that is seriously worth all the slave corporate wage money can buy (It’ll probably take me a year to buy that). But what the heckkkkk! I’m turning bolemic on these political TV ads that I wanna puke everytime I hear Yorgay’s “Tara Lets” inspired theme song or Six Cycle Mind’s “Pro Pinoy” (a.k.a. The Peachy Song)…
C’mon Mr. Hotel-Hostage-Taker! Jamby Madrigal?! We all know Juday won the 2004 elections! Jamby didn’t win in the 2001 elections that’s why she had to buy Juday.
My advice:
Ask Jamby to lend you Juday.
Beat the heat with Icebergs
The hot summer heat has been beating down on us since the season started. It appears to be getting hotter as the days and weeks go by.
Most days, my husband and I cannot even take staying at home because even with the airconditioner turned on, the humidity seeps in through the walls and windows of our house. And it just isn’t practical to have it turned on 24-hours a day.
Times like these, a trip to Iceberg’s is a sure treat. And what do you know, we found ourselves going over to metrowalk during the Blogger’s SEB and took the opportunity to go to Icebergs and have us some nice cold desserts.
I ordered some Kahlua sundae and boy did it feel good to have the ice cold cream slide down my throat.
I have always loved Icebergs and often bought their Mais Con Hielo. Its great that they have expanded and now have several branches spread across the metro.
Like today – the heat is getting to me. I think I should stride over there to cool off otherwise I think I will explode.
Spiderman 3 Review
Well, because I made a promise and my son can’t wait for another day, and since I also hate crowded places, I made reservation for the first screening of Spiderman 3. The movie is about the choices we make, forgiveness, friendship and self control. I took this opportunity to drive the message across to my son’s young mind. Depending on how you will use the opportunity presented, this can be a value adding experience for the whole family. Let me give you a hint– one of the main characters will die on this movie.
If you can’t wait to see the movie and you happen to be in the Philippines, contact these numbers and get your reservation at any theaters of SM Cinema near your place or IMAX Theatre to enjoy 2D experience (large screen format only).

me and my gadgets by in retrospect…
for the longest time ever, i always find myself with one gadget or another that i definitely cannot live without… back in college, all that i ever needed for school was my scientifc calculator… all the calculations that i need to do for my BS in Geodetic Engineering classes can be done by this small calculator, and my notes, if ever i need to jot them down, are in small pieces of paper borrowed/stolen from classmates and can be found in the nook and crannies of that calculator… it’s sort of a personal digital assistant [PDA], or at least, close to it…
nearing election time, how’s your list?? by in retrospect…
i am sure you already have your choices for the coming elections… and i am also sure you have your reasons why that particular candidate is on your list… but are your reasons good enough??
look at your reasons again, and match them against mine, and see if your candidates are good enough…
Misteryosa Featured in Manila Bulletin’s Blog-O-Rama
My super duper long interview with Annalyn Jusay of local broadsheet Manila Bulletin for her weekly column Blog-O-Rama was published yesterday. It was prompted by my win for the Personal Category in the recently concluded 2007 Philippine Blog Awards. Who would have thought, right?
Anyway, the online version of the interview seems to be not available yet, and because the USB connector of the scanner is nowhere to be found (as usual), I just took a picture of the page instead of scanning it. And I’ll just post a written transcript. If you think it’s long, think again. It’s not even everything, if you know what I mean, hehe. I really have this tendency to either digress or blabber endlessly.
Aside: I sound so horny phony in this interview. Probably because I am, haha!

Bloggers’ Gimmick Night: Sex, Politics, and the Unbloggables
A string of almost sleepless nights is coming to an end. It all began last Friday night, when bloggers (Me, L.A., Jhed, Joe, Billycoy, Jeff, Darwin, Chris, Apples, JJ, Jester, Aaronjames, Heneroso, utakGAGO, and the queen of the night, Shari) met initially at Yoohoo Metrowalk for an inuman session, only to find out that the place doesn’t serve beer (Awwww! It’s perhaps the only bar and grill resto that doesn’t serve alcoholic beverages). So, the whole gang moved to nearby Dencio’s. And, of course, the favorite topics of the night are SEX and POLITICS (good combination, don’t you think?). And, the favorite word of the night: UNBLOGGABLE! I’m not going to post a lengthy entry for this one. I don’t have pics and I can’t really add anymore to the numerous posts about it that now exist in the blogosphere, aside from the comments that I’ve left there. And I’m so darn tired from my super inuman session with my highschool classmates during our “After 10″ reunion and from a super toxic duty.

Speech of A UP Diliman Genius
Take (Not) The Road Less Traveled
Speech of Mikaela Irene Fudolig, 16 years old, on April 22, 2007 during UP Graduation Ceremonies. She graduated Summa cum laude, BS Physics at UP Diliman.
“… Take NOT the road less traveled. Rather, MAKE new roads, BLAZE new trails, FIND new routes to your dreams. Unlike the track-beaters in campus who see where they’re going, we may not know how far we can go. But if we are brave, defiant searchers of excellence, we will go far. Explore possibilities, that others may get a similar chance. I have
tried it myself. And I’m speaking to you now.”

Pinoy Web 2.0: 0-100
By my estimate there are around 6000-7000 pinoy blogs out there. Out of this only around 20 percent are active. And out of the active blogs, around 20 percent receive substantial traffic.
