Discrimination against Atheists, is it part of the teaching of God?
May 7, 2007
Hi I am Chino of http://www.chinoyray.com/ and I will be talking about A Manager at DeCoster farms (US’ largest Egg farm) was fired from his job because he is an atheist.
Cacy Cantwell says Austin “Jack” DeCoster told him before he was fired that they might have to “part ways” because Cantwell did not believe in God.
Now that is a lame reason to fire someone out of his job. The official reason for Cantwell’s firing in November 2006 was “poor job performance,” but the commission’s investigator, Barbara Lelli, said Cantwell received no written warnings about performance problems. Did God told his followers (Christians) to discriminate people who do not believe in him? I previously said that the bible is a good book for moral values and so I quote.
‘Now I am certain that God treats all people alike.’ – Acts 10:34
‘Do not exploit the foreigners who live in your land.’ – Leviticus 19:33
‘Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all’ – Colossians 3:11
