The most surprising upset on American Idol
In what appears to be the most surprising upset of the TV series, America has voted… and Melinda Doolittle says goodbye to American Idol.
Melinda has consistently stayed at the top singing better and better as the episodes rolled on. Her performances have managed to melt even cold-hearted and critical Simon Powell’s heart. Gushing like a lovesick boyfriend, Simon would speak out compliment after compliment after each and every performance of Melinda. Makes you wonder, eh?
Commercial Break: Palmolive Soap, I Can Feel It…Sha!

Oh. My. God. Look what I have found!
This is the in/famous Palmolive Soap advertisement that shot Alice Dixson into 1980’s Superstardom. Who among us gays could forget her “I can feel it” action sequence? Roll one shoulder twice and look back with your mouth in a wide smile.
Random Thursday #3

It’s Thursday once again and time for another round of Random Thursday.
Feel free to browse through my past entries using the randomizer or read new blogs and increase your own traffic.
In this edition of Random Thursday, we can now play it in two ways:
Music Break: “Hiwaga” by Up dharma Down

Up dharma Down is one of the most successful Filipino indie bands to date, after winning NU 107 FM’s In the Raw Award for best unsigned band and Best New Artista on last year’s NU Rock Awards.
They are also among the few Filipino bands that were featured internationally, being the first Pinoy band in MTV Asia’s “Advanced Warning” and Mark Coles’ BBC Radio Show.
Apart from “Oo,” “Hiwaga” in my opinion has got to be one of the finest singles they have in their debut album Fragmented (although almost all of their tracks are accolade-worthy). It’s so refreshing to listen, with lyrics that are calming yet provoking.
Random Hot Men: Marc Savoia

Random Hot Men ventures to the Land Down Under and has discovered one fine guy.
Inuman with Pujay (Part 2)
Basahin muna ang Part 1 para maka-relate, mga Mare!

Nakarating na kami sa the place to be, and Carwash na malapit sa balaysung para kumain at, malamang, makipag-inuman with Pujay.
Kami ng sisterette, go. Nag-Smirnoff Ice kami, sosyal. Pinalabas naman ng Pudra ang kanyang reserved na Generoso Brandy.

The Greatest Rip-Off of all Time
China is not yet contented to produce imitations of Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Lacoste, Chanel..etc. Now they already duplicated the place of Fantasy for everyone, the Magical Kingdom of Disneyland. Here is a snapshot of Disneyland China Shi Jing Shan Amusement Park.

Harry Potter 7: Leak or no Leak?
While I was searching for Harry Potter movie reviews and trascripts, I came across to an article saying that the Seventh installment of Harry Potter “The Deathly Hallows†was leaked 100 days before its official release. The alleged copy of that was made by a fan who was really obsessed with the story. The transcript composed of 659 pages with 250 thousand + words was said to be a plagiarized version of another fan made Seventh Edition entitled “Harry Potter and the Seventh Horcruxâ€. Read it here
Actually, when i first started reading and was under the thought that it might be JK Rowling’s work. I somehow didn’t notice the loopholes of the story but after sometime i’ve recognized some inconsistencies with the characters. Anyway, JK Rowling confirmed that it wasn’t really the real thing. But if you are interested, you can download it below.(.pdf file)
