Inuman with Pujay (Part 1)
Wala.

Nokia N70
I have been out of the mobile phone circulation for a long time. I used to be the type who would change my mobile phone to the newest and coolest one that was introduced in the market. I guess the phones have been changing so fast I just couldnt keep up. Plus – I realized that my phone was more often used for calls or texts rather than for taking pictures, playing mp3s or even surfing the net.
The Sony Ericsson phone in my wish list has been there for quite some time now. And even if I lust and drool over my friend’s phone, I still cannot justify replacing my truly and ever reliable nokia 6030.
Parenting XP: The Case of the Missing Cookies
When was the last time you listened to your kids?Â
Last Wednesday, while I was hurrying to get ready for work, my three year old son woke up. My usual routine for these types of contingencies is to let the little kid feed on his ‘mamam’ (milk) and leave him quietly while he watches his favorite shows on Disney Playhouse. This sometimes happens a lot that I know I may be running late for work if the third Pocoyo is on.
But this time, since he was up much earlier, and Nina and I have a growing concern about his scarce diet, I decided to leave him breakfast before I left for work. I prepared a small tupperware container of 2 Chips Ahoy, 3 of the new Spanish Cookies with Cookie Monster in the wrapper (which, it turned out that Matt liked), and 2 Stikkos. It isn’t the most healthy breakfast, I know, but when I left him with the tupperware, happily munching on the smaller, Cookie Monster cookies while watching the TV as the intro to the 3rd Pocoyo started to play… (needless to say, I was 5 minutes late for work).
When I was at work and talked to my wife when she woke up, I asked about the container of breakfast treats I left the kid.
“What food?” She asked. I told her I left the small container on the bed with Matt. She said that it might be there, only that she didn’t seem to notice it. She thanked me for leaving food for the baby.

HALALAN 2007: THE NIGHT BEFORE
Candidates will make evrything just to win the election rgcruz.com reported about some anomalies happens in Marawi City as follows :
Election related Violence
My news team found mario lamposan teary eyed at the amai pakpak hospital in marawi city. His son, 15 year old junior lay just a few feet away, bloodied and lifless, gunshot wounds to his back His son’s companion, 19 year old jonathan bandolon was rushed back to iligan city, also with gunshot wounds to his back. Police say, the 2 went out of their house in the community of aambolong in marawi to buy cigarettes when they were shot. No witnesses have come up so far.
Flying Voters
Lamposan, his son and bandolon are part of a larger group of people from iligan who came to marawi to cast their votes monday.
Vote Buying
Meanwhile, some informants brought a 19 year old first time voter to us. Nash, tells abs-cbn, he was approached by a group of people just the other day, and handed a 500 peso bill with the campaign leaflet of a local candidate.
Nash says the group found him through the certified voters’ list issued by the comelec. As he was handed the money, his picture was taken from a cameraphone, and he was arned to make sure he votes for the candidate who face appears on the leaflet attached to the 500 peso bill, or he risks retribution.
Lanao del sur’s comelec hopes to finish the counting and canvassing of votes for the province as early as 2 days after the monday elections.
Would you belive that for this amount a voter would sell his future. A very sad news. Lets just wait the election result.
top 10 most influential emerging filipino blogs for 2007 » in retrospect… — UPDATED!!
Janette Toral posted last May 12 that her next project was “identifying identifying new and emerging blogs that are making an impact to its readers in 2007…†the only condition being that the blogs you nominate to your top 10 are those that started from 1st August 2006… so, short of asking the blogger when exactly he or she has started, the best way to find out when this blog started is to look at the archive and look at the date the 1st post was made… in the absence of the archives, you can look at the very 1st post and look at the date the post was made… also, that it must be a Pinoy blog… and so, on to my Top 10 Most Influential Emerging Pinoy Blogs of 2007:
tomorrow’s elections and changes needed for the next » in retrospect…
tomorrow, we will all again troop to voting precincts to cast our votes on whom among the senatorial hopefuls will have the right to steal from us for the next 6 years, and whom among the local candidates can bully us for the next 3 years… we have learned so much from the just concluded campaign period, and i believe the most relevant question now should be:
will we allow the next elections to be the same??
Pre-election Dilemma
Once again, we’ll troop to the voting precincts tomorrow to exercise our right to chose 12 senators and local officials. And I am in dilemma– I may not be able to complete the 12 slots.
Am no fan of GMA but neither the opposition. While I can choose the candidates I want from TU, I’m not sure if I can do that with GO, while I “really†like one of the GO candidates because of his anti-administration/ fiscalizer stance and his wits, though soft spoken. Am having second thoughts because of the affiliation he chose.

A Sudden Nurse at Midnight
This morning at around 12:30 AM I heard loud gasping-for-breath sounds. I quickly rose up and nanoseconds later I was out of my room calling for my mom.
I know I can’t explain this thoroughly but during those moments (between the time that I heard my mom gasping for breath and calling her name), there was an adrenalin surge in me. And so with lightning speed and with anxiety comparable to the one I get when I am on duty, I was off to rescue my mom.
