Do Atheists Know How to Love Their Country?

Pwede bang ang eleksyon ay walang kinalaman sa Diyos? asks the priest in his sermon aired this morning on GMA-7.

Pwede bang ang kandidato ay walang diyos? Aba, matakot kayo! Wala siyang diyos! Hindi siya marunong magdasal! Hindi siya nagdarasal! he exclaims.

That’s as far as what I could take. I was so disgusted that I immediately changed the channel. Gawd! Much as I love the Philippines, what he said was enough for me to leave the country right then and there. I just couldn’t…understandwhy…he had to say that. In his sermon. On national TV.

the best company to work for by in retrospect…

what are your standards that make for the best company to work for? free food, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? hmmm, i know at least a few of those… easy atmosphere to work in? that may be harder to find than the free food… other things that make the life of a worker bee easier like a free haircut, a free laundry service, a free day care service, a free sports center, or a free massage, even??

know of a Philippine company who has all of these? no? ok, so maybe a company offering free lunch or a free breakfast, yeah, i know at least one of those… i also know one other company who has an easy atmosphere to work in… but the others?? naaahhh… i still have to find one here…

but imagine if you can have all of the above in one company!! wouldn’t working for that company be just so good??

Joey Pepperoni

Being “Italian food” lovers, my husband and I couldnt resist the call of pizza and pasta.

We have been passing by Joey Pepperoni for a long time but have not had a chance to stop by and try it. I am glad we finally did.

Joey Pepperoni’s interiors are classy in a soft, romantic cafe sort of way. Since we ordered take-out, we really were not able to enjoy the ambience that the place offered.

There are Laws that Every Blogger Must Know

While I’m strongly against institutionalizing a Blogger’s Code of Conduct, I concede to the fact that there are still laws that govern the digital world of blogging: copyright, plagiarism, and all those other legal thingamajigs which are almost, and should be, universal by now.

Gago ang Oposisyon TV Ad

It has become increasingly hard to just keep mum about this one anti-opposition (talk about double negative) political ad paid for by a group called Friends Against Crime and Corruption. I’ve been seeing it on TV for about 2 weeks now, and it really disgusts me to no end. It just shows how the upcoming elections isn’t even about the issues nor the individual nominees running — for some people, it’s just a GMA and Erap political standoff.

Interview Of A Skank

Okay back from the dead and got welcomed with heaps of work to do. Anyway, got 5 questions from the beautiful Naomi for this “Interview Meme”. The questions she asked me are quite interesting and I had tons of fun answering them. So here goes the questions and my answers:

1. You have magically been offered the job of “hosting” a NEW TV Talk show and you get to choose what this new show is about. What would it be and why?

Well, I’ve been thinking of making a cooking show/talk show since that is what I’ve been fancying about. I think it is quite interesting to do some recipes while talking dirty stuff with your guests. Like “Did you try using honey as condiment while having oral sex?”. I think that would be hilarious!
