StarCraft II Officially Announced
StarCraft II has been Officially Announced by Blizzard last May 19, 2007 Saturday, at the Worldwide Invitational Event 2007 (WWI 2007) at Seoul, Korea, late in the afternoon.
Key points made:
- StarCraft II has been in production since 2003, was delayed because of World of Warcraft
- They will stick with the magic of StarCraft I
- Each 3 races will now become as unique and as separate than before, truely having their own identities, advantages, and special abilities, from the units to the buildings – a good example of which is only the Protoss race will have a “Mothership” unit, balancing will occur differently
- Lots of new units
- No target release date
- Will be compatible with Windows Vista
- “Might” have exclusive DirectX10 features (for those Vista/DX10 users of course)
- Will be made under DirectX9
- Is using a newly developed engine
- Will now be in 3D
- With zooming feature similar to WarCraft III (not Super Commander)
- And lots more new features…

School goodies
“Are your shoes on? Where are your shoes? Turn off that TV! C’mon, c’mon!” As promised, I took the kids to National Bookstore for their school goodies last Friday. Once again we are reminded that summer is not long enough. Seeing my 2 siblings go to college and my 3 nieces is a beautiful thing for me.
I need to improve my spending practice so I plan ahead how much to spend on back-to-school needs. I asked the kids to prepare the shopping list because I want them to be part and enjoy this kind of thing. New clothes, notebooks, pencils, and crayons fill out the shopping list.
This year, I went back to National Bookstore. I choose the mall since they offer comfortable shopping with an air conditioned center where we can spend leisure time as well. Last year we had to shop at Divisoria as my father insisted but end up spending 2x as I have expected with less quality bulk notebooks, pens etc. And later I found out, that the box of pen I bought were almost of no use.
National Bookstore was jampacked of people. It took us almost an hour to get all what we need. I had to pick something that the kids would love to have but wont hurt much my pocket.
A spiral trendy notebook with quality ‘A’ paper cost around PhP17.00 to PhP30.00 for grade schooler. You wont’t believe me, we managed to get an eye-catchy with good paper quality for just PhP12.50.
The Vagina Snaps
The title is nothing to do with the post. Though summing up all the experiences I got from Tuesday until today these words on the title seems to be a good description. I really had hectic and long days and they are still far from over plus the effing weather is getting on my nerves. It is like Britney Spears shaving her head all over again!
My body is still aching from the things we have to carry since the move to the new apartment. Most of the stuff belongs to Odd since my things stay at home and I don’t really need to bring those in the new place. Here are some pictures of the yet empty space:

Cooking with your baby
Yep you read right. This post is about cooking with your baby.
I was furious today after hearing about a 19-year old father who put his two month old baby girl in the microwave. Initially, I thought I heard wrong.

Imelda in Divisoria?
In the not-so-distant past, it was rumored that whenever this icon wanted to shop, they would have the entire mall closed to the general public so she could shop. To this day, I still wonder if those rumors are true and if she still does her own shopping.
My friends and I got the surprise of our lives as we went to Divisoria to do some shopping. I never expected to see someone of her stature and opulence to shop in a place like Divi! Not only that, she was dressed up like she always does whenever she’s in public – her signature butterfly-sleeved (?) Filipiniana gown, matching shoes, and big hair! I couldn’t believe we had a run-on with no less than … Continue Reading
