A tragedy. For young adults.
I thought the movie was something that would you goose bumps like the “Sixth Sense” but to my dismay, it did not.
The story was about a guy who got beaten up by a girl who thought that he was the one who told the cops about the stealing she and her boyfriend did. She beat the guy so hard that she and her gang left him for dead, well almost. The guy astrally projected himself and learned about his mother’s secret hurts and the girl’s harsh life at home.
The guy tried hard to make the girl notice him despite his invisibility. Soon, the girl learned that her boyfriend was the one who betrayed her and was consumed by guilt. Later in the end, the girl found the body (it was moved into another place), got shot by her boyfriend, went to the hospital to visit the guy, held his hand, then died from the wound shot. The guy lived. The end.
The guy and girl could have fallen in love in the end but fate had it to end that way. Sayang. It could have been a love story instead.

Easy to make barbecued chicken
I realized that I have not published a lot of articles that are related to home cooking. And if you must know, I not only love to eat – I love to cook as well. Being the eldest girl in the family branded me with the expectation that I must be the one to learn how to cook… among other things. So there I went watching my father do his thing at the wok. He taught me everything I know about cooking. In fact, whenever I was not sure about how a certain dish was cooked, the first person I would call would be my father. And that includes the time that I was in the US.
Well enough about me and let’s go on to the food.

Pinoy Awareness on Blogging

“Can anybody tell me what this word means?â€
“Sir! Can I go to the bathroom?â€Â  If you would ask around on the offline world (that’s the real world, still remember that place?), you may find out that a lot of Pinoys still have no idea what blogging is in spite of its popularity on the internet.

You may only learn about this thing on a number of print media (Manila Bulletin’s Blog-o-rama), from friends, or from people who blogs. Only when you step into the world of blogging itself, you’ll find out that the world ‘blog’ is one of the most widely known terms on the internet.

Raft For A Cause
I’ve been involved in volunteer work for a couple of groups. One of this is Cartwheel Foundation whose mission is to provide education to indigenous children and communities with no access to basic services. Coleen Ramirez emailed me a while ago regarding Cartwheel Foundation’s Raft for a Cause. So, in case you’re thinking of a good activity, this is it!

I need to be an Octopus
I’m so exhausted with all the things happening to me. My job, my passion, my responsibilities and my life.R.I.P. Rabid Wolverine

It’s a depressing way to start my morning. Chris Benoit, “The Rabid Wolverine” with “Toothless Aggression”, has gone on to that great wrestling ring in the sky with his wife and son. I’ve never been this sad about a wrestler’s death since Eddie Guerrero passed away.

How tall are you?
If anything else, height has been a non-issue for me, I consider myself average, and I am perfectly comfortable with my height.
Many Thanks To You*
The Kalayaan2007 contest is over and I won. Yipee!
There are plenty of people whom I’d like to thank for giving me the votes that I needed. Hehe. 73 votes is a lot and honestly, I cannot account where all of them came from. I can only name a few though.

I like this ‘fake’ Harry Potter series ender
Crossposted from my blog.
IF YOU haven’t noticed yet, there’s now a MyBlogLog widget at the bottom of my sidebar. I just followed Irvin’s lead here — and that included joining the PinoyBlogosphere community, on Bratyfly’s invite — and I’m enjoying the experience.
One of the stuff that comes with a MyBlogLog account is a header called “Hot in My Communities.” A fan of the Harry Potter series that is about to finally be unraveled on July 21, the top entry grabbed my attention yesterday as I was winding down work at the office. It is a link to an alleged fake version of J.K Rowling’s 7th and final installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
To cut the crap, I downloaded it and immediately went to the ending, and read my way backwards, scanning about 100 pages or so.
For a fake Harry Potter, the stuff I read appealed to the sucker-for-happy-endings guy in me. I dunno how J.K Rowling’s official version would look like — I will still buy my eldest Ezekiel’s copy when the price becomes affordable — but this fake version is, to me, a good enough alternative Harry Potter universe. Especially if the original becomes dark as advertised.
As a final word, let me say this: whoever wrote this 659-page fake deserves some accolade. On first brush, it is a believable 659-page yarn; and writing all 659 pages organized into 34 chapters is no mean feat.
