Optimized Post Titles: Read me! Read me!

If the title of this post hasn’t caught your attention even at its slightest, then I guess there is no need for you to read this article. Not all visitors have the luxury of time to read blog posts on other blogs. We must consider the fact that many of them only scan through the title of the posts to see whether there is something of interest that they can read. If they don’t see anything interesting, then it’s bye-bye to your blog.

We can visualize post titles as a label on doors that leads to an unknown room. The decision of a person entering the said room or not highly depends on what is written on the said label. With this in mind, we must make sure that our post titles are fully optimized in order for us to catch their attention and make them turn the doorknob.

Philippine SEC site has a badware?

The Philippine Daily Inquirer reports that the website of the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission has been tagged by google search and StopBadware.org as a ‘harmful’ site. When you try to go to this government’s agency website, you will be redirected to a warning page.

It is odd how an agency which is responsible for securities laws could be accused of containing “unsecured” files. The SEC already wrote a letter to Google seeking explanation on how their website was tagged harmful.

People can still visit their website through directly typing their URL (http://www.sec.gov.ph/) to the address bar or through links from other website. The warning page only appears when the traffic come from Google search, that is if you click the SEC website using the search results.

There are few Pinoy sites that offer online shopping (that I know of mind you), and most online shopping done by Pinoys are on international sites like amazon.com or something. Most sites that I know my friends visit to shop are ebay philippines and bidshot.com where the seller and buyer arrange on how payments can be made.

I Was A Teenage Slut: The Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction

My dearest friend Scart tagged me with a meme. It is all about the weirdest stuff about me and I am doing it with a twist as what I usually do with all the memes that I usually get. This time I am writing it under the Teenage Slut series meaning this entry will be raunchy, vulgar and covers some sexual fantasies I had since I was a teenager. And yes, I won’t be tagging anyone on this meme.

Now, let’s get on the milkshake business!

That “faith-full” July 16 earthquake

Before I could even sit , I heard a loud and disturbing rumbling noise from a distance. We were 100 meters from the highway, and the thought of a roaring Peterbilt truck would not be a possibility. (Benguet Corporation have huge Peterbilt trucks for their mining operations). The roaring and rumbling sound became louder like a huge Peterbilt coming closer. We all asked: “Ano yun?!” Before we could figure it out, however, a strong jolt already shook us, making us unbalanced and some to fall on the floor. Then another jolt! Then, we realized it was an earthquake. It was 3:26PM (DST), July 16, 1990.
