Every time the Philippine Congress is about to begin deliberations on the approval of the national budget, the military is suspiciously engaged in a fierce battle with rebels. Maybe it’s just coincidence or maybe it is calculated to justify funding support for military armaments.

Some people don’t really care about what happens in congress. It is correct to show the Abu Sayyaf group that they can not use Mindano to stage their terrorist activities. I am from Mindanao too…we share the same island…we are tired of this group…half of them are not even Filipinos because they come from Indonesia. The government should be consistent in this war. Sentar Mar Roxas talked about displaced and traumatized men, women and children….does he ever think of our people in southern Mindanao who suffers the same because of Abu sayaf bombs exploding at their leisure??
