Titans of Hate

PGMA can sure think of cool names to call her detractors. The Senate probes more into her cheating fiasco now when Technical/Sergeant Vidal Doble Jr. says that he actually heard PGMA and Garci talk on the phone. Now Lacson and Villar want Doble to come to the Senate hearings to finally put this scandal to rest and hopefully put the culprits in their rightful places. But of course, PGMA won’t succomb to their spiteful plots to impeach her.

From Inquirer:

“I have a country to run. I have terrorists to fight. I have peace to win and a bright future to secure for these children. I embrace work and will just leave to the titans of hate to have a monopoly on the politics of destruction.”

In the first place, she shouldn’t have a country to run because she cheated; she doesn’t have the slightest right to head the State so I implore her to stop calling her presidency legitimate because it isn’t. Besides, what work is she talking about: our economy, the boost in foreign investments and the decrease in unemployment numbers? Whenever I watch ANC or news in general about our economy, I pay so much attention to what analysts say. Like, for example, the majority of what these people say is that the economy or the peso isn’t really rebounding because of the government’s efforts; it’s because of the remmittances that the OFWs give to the country. The uneployment rates? They say that the government isn’t giving the exact figures. Besides, if unemployment is down and if our peso is truly soaring up, then why is our country still impoverished?

Oh well, this is just another ploy to distract us from noticing her misgivings on the 2004 polls. Can’t they tell the people are sick and tired of seeing that midget act as if she truly deserves the people’s mandate?! Is she insane?!

    Nina,

    The problem is, under the Constitution the executive is removable in office only via impeachment, which must start from the Congress.This is the only legal means. Otherwise . . . it would be very difficult. Finally, it’s only less than three (3) years for another Presidential election.

    These are difficult times. I rather look forward in 2010 in the hope that we choose leaders we deserve best and guard our ballots. Let us show to the world that we are a politically matured nation.

    If not through legal means . . . what do others propose? We can’t afford it as a nation.

    roy luga:
    impeachment should start from the lower house i think, from the representatives. i think there was a move before but the senate shut it down. partially because i think the administration senators were in majority then (and even now). we cannot let pgma’s wrong doing pass unnoticed like it is.
