1 . What do the colors below mean to you?
![]()
a. They’re the colors of a traffic light. Red means stop. Yellow means prepare to stop. Green means go! (Hint: This is the correct answer)
b. It’s Christmas with a hint of hepatitis.
c. Colors? (Hint: I know it’s hard to comprehend, but there’s such a thing as colors. And when you see these three lights on an intersection, they actually mean something. Please don’t choose this option. Choose option “a.” “A” is the correct answer!)
On Blog Comments and Instant Angst Release
[...]In the program (Media In Focus aired last Friday), the judgment of Bloggers who let people comment anonymously, specifically those who let people express violent and personal invectives and reactions to the articles or posts they publish online, are questioned, among others. As comments generated by the more popular posts concerning the Malu Fernandez issue increase in number daily, so did the instances of comments containing malicious tirades and cat calls on Malu Fernandez’s weight which was frowned upon as uncalled for and a detraction from the real, more pressing issue.
The absence of filters on said comments is feared to be a cause for alarm because blogs as examples of the new media could become the latest avenue for individuals with violent intentions to convene.
On a personal note, although the trend for blog ownership and readership has been picking up in the last couple of years, blogs should not be perceived as the only venue where unmoderated comments are available and offered for public access. AM band radio stations do, too, and boy they could get just as ugly.

Information Improvisation
70-536 and 70-620 is a common credit on applications for 70-296. It is courses like 70-297 that make a difference.
The fashion phone: Motorola RAZR2
True to being a Sex and the City fan, I lust after a clamshell phone. Most of the chick flicks that I can remember have IT girls carrying these flips.
However, my husband has always discouraged me from buying one stating that it was prone to breaking at the joint. I was no expert on phones like he is so I was hesitant to blow my money on something that would give up on me in a few months. So I’ve carried a candybar all my life.
Believe It Can Be Done
More than 2 months ago, a bunch of young professionals and entrepreneurs, who barely know each other, worked on a goal that we thought to be close to impossible. And that is to host a national convention for Human Resource practioners where a well established organization has been doing regularly. And exactly, who do we think we are? An HR e-group whose members only know each other via email and blog, with no money.
All we have is the common desire to mentor younger generation/entry level HR practitioners, and that of GK Lim who volunteered to speak for HR Philippines since he is will be in town. GK Lim is a well known Trainer and HR Guru in Asia Pacific, he is from Malaysia.
And on August 29, 2007, HR Philippines e-group made history by hosting 350 hr practitioners in attendance, the largest ”eye ball” event an e-group can have.

Joey vs. Willie
Let me just make it clear: I watch neither Eat Bulaga nor Wowowee but I catch glimpses of these shows when I have lunch in Melville, the nearest friendly carinderia in front of my dorm in Elbi. Eat Bulaga, I like genuinely, but Wowowee? with Willie’s intolerable and corny antics, no thank you. To be frank, I do not enjoy seeing the contestants in that show ‘get down and dirty’ or simply do whatever sort of task Willie wants them to. The thing is, the contestants need money; that’s one of the main reasons why they even bothered to join and so technically, they do a ‘kapit sa patalim‘ thing to invoke Willie’s sympathy on them. That’s not entertainment for me, though I’m well aware it is for some.
When Joey opens his mouth, you know it’s something big and often ugly. Truth is, I agree with Joey. If you’ll watch the succeeding clip, you can see that there is something wrong:
Make More Money with Advertlets!
Need to make more money with your blog? Tired of international blog advertising programs that display advertisements irrelevant to your blog readers? Tired of making little money from international online advertising programs, because there aren’t enough advertisers for our region?
Advertlets.com provides targeted advertising through the means of real time demographics profiling for your blog – meaning, you get LOCAL advertisers, matched with the target audience for your blog. They wouldn’t show ads on high-heel shoes on your blog if they know you had 80% male visitors, for instance.

Wii Would Like to Play – Filteany

In the Name of the Brother
To die for the “ideals of service to the university, the country and the people.”
Principles behind the brotherhood, according to Bikoy, are what generations of fraternities have long stood for. Cris Mendez, who was as full of promise as any iskolar ng bayan, died for the ideals of a fraternity. Doesn’t it sound heroic to die for these ideals?
No, not when you die in the hands of a brother, and with the silence of the rest of witnesses, in the hands of the brothers.
We can think of initiation-related deaths as a miscarriage. A new brother is on the way but an accident happens. Sadly, it’s not just a simple accident. Without the intention of murder, educated men placed the unborn brother under highly dangerous circumstances that lead to death. It’s not just a miscarriage but manslaughter.
If Cris had lived, a fellow fraternity member would look him in the eye and call him with pride, “brod.”
