The Inmates’ New Groove
Byron Garcia strikes again and delivers on his promise of a ‘Together in Electric Dreams’ routine from the prison inmates. It looks like some kind of deal was brokered with CNN as they got to show the routine first before Byron Garcia put up a video of it under his YouTube account. Here’s a link to the CNN video. CNN did the camera work on this one and it seems several were used (getting fancier!). They did some close-ups of the inmates this time too and you know what? If I ever meet one of these guys, I’m not going to make a wise crack about their dancing.
The flag thing at the end was a bit out of place don’t you think?
Hopeless Phone with an Instant TV
Ever heard of LG U900? My dad just recently bought this phone from Italy. TV was really working in Italy, with auto TV channel searching. Unfortunately, no one can unlock this phone. We’ve been in several cellphone shops to unlock this phone but they can’t work this on.
One thing problem here is it only works in 128K sim card. Yes, Globe has just phased out 128K sim due to some incompatibility occurring in some phone unit. Now what’s the solution for this? Would this be soon to release here in Philippines?
Abolishing Fraternities: Why It Won’t Work

We’re all probably aware by now of the tragic fate that befell Cris Mendez. The blogosphere has already presented all the emotions expected to come out of this senseless death. I pretty much share the same sentiments and I feel that everything that needs to be said has been said, and all that needs to be done has been… well, said. There’s one idea that rubs me the wrong way, though. And it comes from my favorite senator: the incomparable Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago.

As far as I’m concerned, from my experience in UP Diliman for four years in the College of Law, these fraternities do not aid the academic tradition of the University. They are nothing but elitist enclaves,” she told reporters.
I’ll have to firmly disagree with you on this one, Madame Senator.

I’m not a fan but…
What is it about celebrity that makes people queue for hours for a glimpse of their favorite stars? I don’t know. I never thought I’d do that myself. But I thought, if the chance comes, I might as well take it. It’s not every day that you see someone from the movies face to face.
Though I didn’t go as far as shouting out her name when she walked down the red carpet, I must admit that I did get starstruck when all that separated us was a metal barrier. I felt sorry for her because she indulged the crowd so much. It’s part of the job description, but if you’re just an actress who wants to work and live like a normal person, it must be quite tiring.

Lurrrve Friendster Layouts is a blog which features friendster layouts created by Lurrrve. Much of Lurrrve’s friendster layouts have these themes: classic, colors , cute, dots, fashion, glamour, retro, sanrio, shoes, vector, & vintage.
A closer inspection would tell you that Lurrrve creates friendster layouts at an average of 3 per month. A higher rate would be much better actually. One per week would be ideal I believe. Lurrrve however explains that creating friendster layouts is just a ‘hobby’, one which she could not attend to full time.
Adsense Section Targetting How-To’s
Beats me if this is old news to other bloggers but for the sake of those who doesn’t know it yet, here is a nice tip for your adsense setup. This tip is very timely because I recently discover some of my ads are irrelevant to my post. And here is something I would really, really want to experiment on my adsense.
I came up with this site teaching how to deal with the situation with just two lines of code that you would add on your html. Im keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the success that this section targetting thingy would pump up my adsense earnings.

Wika 2007 Result and The Misteryosa Award

Misteryosa Award
I didn’t judge the entries based on anyone else’s standards but mine. There were no strict criteria followed during the process. I just read the entries as casually as I could, left a comment here and there, agreed or disagreed with some points which were made by the author, listed the notable ones I found, and waited for the organizers’ email about the result.
I did mention that those who already have a domain would be short-listed from the final list of eligible entries for the Misteryosa Award. I should think that this simple special mechanics wouldn’t be of a problem to others. I decided to do this because I wanted to give this chance to others to finally have their own domain. Besides, what would you need another domain for? Duh?
There’s one thing I would like to admit. I came up with a final list of 10 possible bloggers that would win the award. From there, I closely followed their blogs — from the content, to the habit, to even the archives of their posts. I wanted to know the people behind the blogs. Bottomline: I did not judge the Wika 2007 entries only. See, I wanted to make sure that the bloggers aren’t just one-hit wonders. Y’know, those who would come up with interesting (I repeat, for me) posts whenever something’s at stake. I wanted consistency.
