These grown men should just have a fist fight outside the Senate and settle their differences then and there. Because if all of these men are deemed to be telling lies, who else will the public believe in?

It’s All Fun and Games Until Houses Burn Down

…and someone, namely me, gets burnt out.

The petty thefts (if you can call them that) stopped when we installed a gate. The bakal boys went out of business when we padlocked and cemented the damn water meter. The rowdy crowd lessened when we got a fierce guard dog. We couldn’t stop power theft, however, but we let it pass and still pay for the ridiculously high bill. It shouldn’t be a big deal, right?

Hell, no!

Really, I live in such a bad neighborhood that even my father thinks of moving. Again. I know the meaning of pakikisama, just as people here don’t even know that there exists such a word. I try hard to keep my temper (though I fail most of the time) whenever our next door neighbor splashes hot water on, and hurt our dog. And after almost 10 years of screaming marathons, dealing with malicious drug addicts, suicides and murders, gang wars, flying bottles, and crazy bastards, I’ve officially given up on this place. It’s now filed under my Hopeless Case folder.

Neri and Karina

Neri can sleep peacefully since he refused an offer which couldn’t be refused and more importantly, he has not violated the vow of omerta, oops, executive privilege. Neri is no Chavit Singson, Clarissa Ocampo or Karina Constanito David. Neri is, well, Neri. The witness who told the convenient truth but left out the inconvenient truth.

Show support for Myanmar Democracy Movement

This is an idea for all bloggers especially the ASEAN Citizens.

To show our support with the movement going on in Myanmar these past days, let us show banners and/or badges on our respective blogs with a positive message saying the likes of: “Myanmar for Democracy” or “Myanmar for Peaceful Reconciliation”, or any message you can think of. Let us all try to avoid being negative or anti- to the rulers of Myanmar as this will not help at all. But if you insist on being anti- and create banners and/or badges with the messages “No to Myanmar’s Military Regime” or “Myanmar’s Military Regime time to step down” (pretty long), or the likes, you are free to do so. Though again, a positive message is more preferable.

Actually, bukas pa ang birthday ko. The usual day for me. No cakes, party, no balloons(balloons?!!) for me. But its okay. I’d rather spend my birthday sleeping. The most memorable birthday I had was wayback 2003. I was turning 18 then. Because i was an activist, I don’t need a party at that time(‘coz 18 years old is=debut); I’d prefer my parents to give me money. I spent my birthday hanging out with fellow tibaks(activists).
