Another Perspective on the Latest ‘Racial Slur’ Issue

Perhaps, unlike many people I had a different reaction when I watched the clip of the Desperate Housewives where Teri Hatcher’s character said this:

“Okay, before going further, can I check these diplomas ‘coz I would just like to make sure that they’re not from some med school in the Philippines.” [watch the clip from MindyTV]

Pardon me for my relative insensitivity, but I did agree that she had to check out those diplomas as a precautionary measure alright.

    Laos na si Hatcher dito sa US,Eh! ang palabas
    na iyan ay ginaya lang sa Sex in the City.

    Mga nagmumurang kamatis na ang mga lead stars,
    at si Teri ay isa sa mga character na wala na
    mang “K”.

    ABC always flunks when it comes to TV ratings.
    Their talents were bunch of low fee talents
    that the disney was recruited.

    Now,let’s talk about the hot issue regarding
    racial slur,because i,myself suffered a lot
    from this problem,i don’t belong in the med-
    field,but i knew in my heart that i was a
    talented filipino,that married an american,
    because i am a sociable person,and love talking
    good topic and various subjects about the world
    and realities of life.

    Then,here i am end up in the land of green
    pasture and hardworking person,who pays tax
    and pay my bills on time,without bothering
    no one here in America,but some of my bitter
    experience working for whites and blacks were
    absolutely,nasty and very much disappointing.

    Discrimination here in America is rampant,
    especially,if you are Pinoy and belong from
    the third world country.
    Conservative Republicans,and Christian Fanatics
    are the worst one.

    Now,Louisiana,Missisipi,Alabama,South Carolina,
    North Carolina,Georgia were among on top of
    the lists of Racist States in America.
