Ahmadinejad Misquoted?

This just in.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad drew the ire of many after he delivered his speech at Columbia University in the United States about a month ago. Mr. Ahmadinejad was quoted, through a translator, as saying that in Iran, there are not homosexuals and that Iran does not have that phenomenon.

Shortly after that appearance, Mr. Ahmadinejad has gained many haters and has actually become the subject of many parodies and satires, one of which was Saturday Night Live’s “I Ran,” which poked fun at him and the non-existence of homosexuality in Iran.
