My Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition

Whether I like it or not, starting Sunday, October 14, my family is bound to be glued once again to the television with Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition.The house mates “may include commercial models, actors and actresses (even starlets), radio and TV show hosts, musicians, sports and fashion personalities, and even politicians.”

Now that made me wonder — what if I had the chance to pick the celebrities who would stay inside the house?

Here’s an excerpt of my list:

5. Erap — He’s under house arrest anyway, why not detain him in Kuya’s house? (On second thought, Antonio Trillanes could also be a house mate.)
6. Bayani Fernando — He’ll share the large bed with house mate #1. Now, will he start installing signs like “Bawal ang tao dito. Nakamamatay.” inside? And if pink is really his favorite color, then let’s see if he wears pink pajamas!
7. Mike Arroyo — It’s interesting to see how he deals with Erap. And it’s for the common good that he stays in Big Brother’s house: he’ll be restrained from making anomalous business transactions. His confession sessions are a must-see. Kuya (reading a script from Alan Cayetano) asks him, “Ano ba talaga ang kinalaman mo sa ZTE deal?
8. Miriam Defensor-Santiago — Also here for the common good. Better to keep her here than in the Senate, and she’ll even be doing what she’s known to do best: entertainment. Watch out for her answer to Kuya’s question, “sinong crush mo sa mga house mates?”
