It has nothing to do with the Glorietta Mall Blast Explosion… I just feel bad for days and stuffs… ![]()
18th of October supposed to be the 7th month anniversary of me and my tar… I have to admit that he was never the kind of man who remembers everything about “US” – he was never the sweet one though he used to be one…
We started out as friends. I was his confidante, his friend, and I was the only person whom he trusted with his deep dark secrets. I was the one who listens to all his heart problems. I was even the one who taught him that “Time will heal all his wounds.”
Whenever he’s hurting it’s me who’s beside him. I did give him my shoulder for him to cry on. There were a lot of times that he feels like shit and unworthy to be loved. But I made him feel that maybe that one person he fell in love with isn’t the right one for him…
Have You Said Thank You Yet?
Today is National Thank You Day, the first of its kind in the country. Spearheaded by Toblerone, the event was organized because of the Reader’s Digest survey finding ranking the Philippines as one of the least courteous countries in the world.
The campaign includes a concert at Mall of Asia today, blog posts soliciting creative ways of saying Thank You, etc. Anton of Our Awesome Planet goes further with the launch of the Thank You Art Project.
A call to Pinoy Bloggers for prayer and sobriety
We have all witnessed the Glorietta 2 Tragedy. I wanted to discuss this in my blog and share a piece of my thought and inject my personal analysis.
However, something prevents me from doing so. I would have expressed further why, but something holds me to explain. After all, I am not indebted to anyone about my feelings.
What is important for me right now is that rooting for the victims of this inhuman act.
So this blog calls for all Filipinos to blog for prayer and sobriety. Never mind the link. You can cut and paste this one.

What Kind of “Terrorists” are We Looking At?
As of now, the LPG explosion theory has been ruled out by the discovery of traces of C4, a chemical explosive that is reported to be used in the Philippine Army. (Oh, but we know that the army is capable of selling its supplies to its own enemies.) There are many spculations on who’s behind the bombing incident — could it be the government? a group that aims for destabilization? rebels? While that remains unanswered, I have other questions:
- Where exactly did the explosion come from? - Why on a week day? - What is the purpose of the bombing? Continue reading ‘What Kind of “Terrorists” are We Looking At?’>>[DYuTYub #31] State of Denial – Philippines
I was looking for videos re: Glorietta Blast but this was what I stumbled upon… tsk tsk tsk
“I miss Karen very, very much”, sobs Karen Empeno’s mother. The young student was abducted one night by a group of armed men. Her family believe Karen, like hundreds of others, was caught up in a dirty war between the army and left wing political groups.

Safety And Security Lapse At Ayala Malls?
If this was a tragedy caused by an LPG explosion, the safety procedures of Ayala Corp. will be put into question.
If this was a terror attack, not only the security lapse of Ayala Corp. that will be put in question, but also our intelligence network and the national Police.
For the life of me, I don’t understand how the culprits was able to sneak in high powered explosives in an upscale mall at the heart of the financial district?

Bloody Friday Mall Bombing Tragedy
It was 3 in the afternoon when I chanced upon the news headline on the computer’s screen. I didn’t recognize it at first, thinking it was about Pakistan and the bombing that marked Benazir Bhutto’s return.
I read the report again. “Mall bomb blast kills 8, hurts more than 100,” the latest headline said. Chilling, I thought. The last time I remember something like this happen was that harrowing December 26 bombing of the MRT a few years back.
Horrifying, both tragedies are. One difference, however, has to do with the speed in which assorted information on the present tragedy has been spreading. Manuel Quezon III’s blog rounds up many of such narratives.
