Pardon Erap? Pardon Me?!
Perhaps I will never ever understand the world of politics. Philippine politics, specifically. But, come to think of it, I don’t think the politicians do either. That’s why if they’re not at each other’s throats, they “unite” to get at another’s.
Former president Joseph “Erap” Estrada was unseated during the People Power 2 amidst all the numerous allegations against him. Some people questioned the legality of the process, but I believe the Filipinos (well, some, if not most) had spoken their displeasure over his presidency. Then a few weeks ago, the Sandiganbayan found Erap guilty of plunder after a 6-year long trial. He was sentenced to a penalty of reclusion perptua.

If you had a choice between supporting one of our own and celebrity spotting, which would you choose? I tried to do both, which doesn’t quite work out. Foster Child and Lion for Lambs red carpet on the same evening–ambitious, but worth a shot.

AS A FOLLOW THROUGH of my previous blog about this issue, I always make it a point to watch the news regarding the conviction of Former President Joseph Estrada for the crime of plunder. While watching him on the news yesterday, I realize once again that he did not only make himself lesser credible, but made him rather pathetic as he has, again, brazenly demonstrated his rude audacity.

New Sweeney Todd Trailer!
So before I start working, let me share with you the newest Sweeney Todd trailer I’ve discovered just a couple of minutes ago. I am terribly excited and I have only watched the trailer once today. But mind you, I’ll be watching it again and again later. Maybe even after I do this post. I’m not selfish and I’d like to share with you my Johnny Depp’s newest Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street trailer. You may have to prepare yourselves though for this one is quite a bit bloody towards the end.
Pope John Paul II: Bonfire Version
During Pope John Paul II’s second death anniversary (last April 2), people lit a bonfire in Poland. Some guy took a picture and “realized” that the bonfire looked like JPII.
