Ahmadinejad Misquoted?
This just in.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad drew the ire of many after he delivered his speech at Columbia University in the United States about a month ago. Mr. Ahmadinejad was quoted, through a translator, as saying that in Iran, there are not homosexuals and that Iran does not have that phenomenon.
Shortly after that appearance, Mr. Ahmadinejad has gained many haters and has actually become the subject of many parodies and satires, one of which was Saturday Night Live’s “I Ran,” which poked fun at him and the non-existence of homosexuality in Iran.

Hi,I am going to ask probably the biggest favor I’ve ever asked of you yet. I won’t ask for money or blood =)
Fr. Stephen Cuyos, MSC ( www.stepehncuyos.com) and I ( www.mabutingbalita.net) collaborated to record (do a podcast of) the rosary in Tagalog and posted it online so anybody can download it for free. Our aim is to get more people to pray the rosary, specifically in Tagalog (though any language would be fine as long as the devotion is practised.). October is the month of the Holy Rosary and we figured that this would be a timely resource for anybody who would like to pray/know Ang Santo Rosaryo.
This is not link bait to get traffic going to our site. You do not even need to mention our names/blogs. We would just like to maximize the people we reach and the lives Jesus will touch through Mama Mary. We’ve placed the files at:

Last I checked, there were 228 downloads since we’ve posted the announcement in our blogs. Wouldn’t it be great if mp3 players contained these files too – praying while commuting or waiting? How about the Filipinos abroad who would like to teach their kids Filipino prayers? Or maybe some parish or organization would need assistance to teach praying the rosary?
Any help in spreading the word and devotion would be highly appreciated.
May our Mother, Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary watch over you and intercede for your concerns.

Yesterday, Yoko Ono celebrated the 67th birth anniversary of her husband, John Lennon, by unveiling the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland. According to the Reuters report, Ono created this light sculpture as a birthday gift for the revolutionary Beatles leadsinger. From now on, it will light up the Icelandic sky each year from October 9th to December 8th (the death anniversary of the revolutionary Beatles leader who was assassinated outside his New York apartment). During the unveiling ceremony, Ono said, I hope that when the light from the tower will shine, the world will pause for a time and imagine peace.

I love Manny Pacquiao
Did I ever mention that I love Manny Pacquiao? Oh yeah, like every other living and breathing Filipino. However, I love him for a totally non-romantic reason (Dont bite me Jinky!). I love Manny Pacquiao because he is the only person who can achieve what the MMDA has failed in. He can make all traffic jams disappear!
You see I travel to Rizal every Sunday to visit my parents. And even though it is a Sunday, the traffic is horrendous. And I am sure you have heard of this phenomenon called “traffic in Ortigas ext”. I have lived in that area for years and I consider traffic jams normal.

Meh.. being a GC student (Graduating class) sucks… There’s so much to do with so little time. I can’t even read my favorite blogs T_T
I doubt I will be able to post tomorrow since I need to go ojt hunting. Level up, Teloworks, Fujutsu Sen and Accenture (tentative) are on my to go list so the only new stuff you’d probably read is my scheduled Weekly Software review. I put together some elbow grease and put Yahoo! Mail Beta, Gmail and Windows Live Hotmail to the test so look forward to it XD.
The post will be up probably by 6 or 630 am.. can’t remember the exact time I set it.
I’ll also be working out on transferring to a new host. I can’t believe the server dies after reaching 150 simultaneous visitors both from digg and stumbleupon. T_T
