Delighted indeed
I just couldn’t help but acknowledge certain people who wanted to lend a hand but for confidentiality’s sake I’d rather not. I’ve been calling out for aid yet people seem to cover their ears but still I’m very deligthed because of some really cared…it’s because of optimism.
Im bored, got nothing to do so I’m stuck in this café trying to figure out where to head next. Lot’s of stuffs to attend to in the office hours ago but was able to beat the deadlines. No sweat. A close pal of mine was available though she needs more hours of sleep since she’s a nightwalker committed and angaged with a BPO company(Cebu) thus, we had dinner together. We’ve discussed latest things about the web updates about Careerclub Philippines and it’s latest enagements. Wow! I had my break. My mentor told me that she will be using Careerclub Phillipines as a front for a workshop to be held in Cebu before this year ends. The session would be small but it’s diffenetly a good news worth sharing and telling. By the way, I’d like to invite Hr professionals to check “public events” corner for a seminar sponsored by PMAP – Cebu one of my major sponsor. In short, whatever program they’ll be spearheading I’m just there helpless since all of them are my boss (direct and indirect) J. On the other hand, Careerclub Philippines will be iniating a “Cebu SEO Forum – Blog” hopefully before this year ends and initial venue would be at “Sacred Heart”.

Quiet Dignity
Summing up everything I have read on the suicide of 12-year-old Mariannet Amper led me to a poem written by Prestoline Suyat, entitled “Para sa Isang Batang Martir.” Even if I don’t understand Filipino as well as I should, Mariannet was privy to the indignities of life. But to proclaim her a “martyr,” I don’t think so.
Indignity caused Mariannet’s suicide: to beg for cold rice from her neighbors, to skip class because of hunger, the last straw being that her father didn’t have a hundred pesos for her school project. Depressing, yes: but I’ve heard that story before. The common denominator is that it’s a poverty caused by unemployment.
All too often, there’s dignity to be found in poverty, albeit a quiet one: something you won’t find in a black-tie dinner party or a speech by a politician. There are things you cannot pin squarely on the government: there are crimes the government are perfectly innocent of. Unlike Pilate, they can freely wash themselves out of spilt blood.
To blog or not to blog..
This was the first words that my volunteer blogger told me about what will be her first entry for my project. But I won’t be expecting a lot from her since she’s a very busy person and of most of the time I hate talking and conversing to people who always tells me that their busy. Why? Most of them don’t see the value of time or don’t value time actually. Being busy doesn’t mean your valuing your time but rather the other way around. Valuing time is making use of the time on things your happy doing with. Don’t tell me your happy being busy coz if you do that’s terribly insane of you..
From Fling To Ring
My dear friend, Scart tagged me with a wonderful meme. It’s about your other half and I really like it since my other half has been so supported to me aside from my Norwegian father, Børre (which I also love so dearly). I can really tell that he cares deeply for me and of course I will do the same if I were in his shoes. It makes me cry to think that finally there is man in my life that really stands by me. Here are the following guidelines of the meme:
1. First name: if he doesn’t like his name plastered all over the internet, a pet name will do.
2. How and where did you meet?
3. Characteristics
4. Your plans 20 to 30 years from now.
And so here are my answers as well:

I’m good to go but with a bit of frustration.
Just uploaded our new banner & logo yesterday with the help of a good colleague. Credit to him for helping me out on this one since he gave me this for FREE. Hope to have more of those freebies in the future bro..
In the meantime I was bit saddened as to the outcome of my last entry “I blog for a cause – A must read”. As if nobody even bothered or even cared about it though I’m not blaming anybody on this one. Well, I guess I won’t be relying to anyone nalang cguro on helping people whom I find worth the help. Worst, my effort was not enough to convince fellow bloggers and netizens about my cause. But rest assured I’m not even thinking of stopping the cause to push things forward and help those who need a little help. If squeezing my own resources would be my last resort then so be it.
RSS Feed Exchange and Confessions of a Noob
I don’t mind link and fave exchanges (I need them actually), but I’ll probably skip the digg and stumble exchanges because they make me feel like a spammer.
I’m skipping RSS feed exchanges too. I’m neck-deep in feeds already, and I don’t see the point in subscribing to blogs that don’t consistently grab my interest. As a blogger, people subscribing to your feed makes you giddy, and knowing that some of those subscribers were “forced” takes out the fun. Besides, how can you keep track if someone you exchanged feed with really subscribed to your blog?
Humor Me
Today I decided…to get a sense of humor.
Not that I didn’t have one before, I even flatter myself with the idea that I’m occasionally funny, but what I’m referring to is more rigorously using humor to address situations and issues that would have otherwise filled me with seething anger or frustration. I don’t need any more stress in my life. And I’d like to live longer, if I can help it. We’ve all heard of ‘laughter is the best medicine’, and though current studies are reviewing the actual health benefits of humor and laughter, we can’t deny its uplifting effect.

Real(ly Long) Names, Short Nicknames, and the Consequences of Your Online Identities
Things became different when the Internet kicked in. You wanted an email address that could identify you as you, but unfortunately you lived in the Philippines and a million other Americans had beaten you to it. And thus began the unsavory fad of attaching numbers to cutesy, meaningless code names like
bluewhiskers28, or unpronounceable aliases altogether, likeaoikoorikaze(aoi = blue, koori = ice, kaze = wind, all Japanese words that may or may not be grammatically correct when put side-by-side, but used anyway due to once-blind anime fandom and teenhood).
