It’s so sad to hear companies luring applicants for an expensive training. Once you signed the training agreement you’ll spend two years first under their shackles before you can hop to a new opportunity. Worst, the base pay is not that competitive compared to new emerging industries i.e. BPO well of course you can’t blame them. Work environment is not conducive for working as well as for learning. Some companies have devised their strategies just to pin down yuppies to their companies. This is due to the fact that promising graduates has been lured to high paying salaries offered by the BPO Industry. So to compete and grab a few heads from that trend a training bond has been designed for you.
So why took the bait? Because of your tempting promises we bite. Career growth is not just about earning promotions because you’ve acquired certain technical skills but rather learning more skills and competencies as well as broadening your horizon. BPO sectors have been practicing this one since talents are so scarce. They’ve resorted to creating their own corporate university just to mitigate the risk of loosing in the end. Promotions have been very fast wherein some questions have been raised if they’re really capable. Are they mature? Can they handle people? Just a couple of the most common questions we should be asking to those leaders who are directing us. I pity those staffs that’s been administratively reporting or functionally reporting to those new breed of executives i.e. Portable Generation. Opppsss.. this is not the kinda story I want to project but rather the other side of the coin..
