Taylor Hicks Live in Manila
After his performance at the Asian Idol competition in Jakarta, Indonesia, Taylor Hicks will be performing live in Manila this December.
Your read it right! The winner of the fifth season of American Idol, who competed with Katharine McPhee and Eliott Yamin and the hottest bachelor of 2006 according to People Magazine, will do a series of shows at the Ayala Malls on December 18 to 20.

This movie really reminds me of one person who’s very close to me. He shared his story to me just last night about some of his frustrations when he has still in school that turned out to be challenges for him to overcome. As you all know, I’m on call 24/7.
His story really was so inspiring that I really listened carefully word for word. So what’s the price Rodel for listening to him? This article of course, otherwise I won’t be listening to anyone. 
Just to make the story short, his story happened long time ago when we were still in high school. Actually, we were at the same school and we have the same passion i.e. dancing & acting Clown. And hell no, this guy is not my alter ego in fact I’m a lot different than him. I was good at school or I was trying to be good at school but my teacher labeled me as a bad kid. She was just sooooo … arggh! Anyway, she labeled me as a troublesome kid wherein everyday I get into trouble and I was the source of it. Poor teacher… Worst, she didn’t even let me in to her class for a month! And it was my science class. Can you believe that? How many experiments I missed and supposedly lessons to learn? Believe me I was really good; it’s just that there were uncontrollable circumstances.
Asian Idol: Will Our Mau Marcelo Make It?
Mau Marcelo, the first Philippine Idol, will be competing with other “idols” from the asian region this December 2007 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
I was able to watch the preview few days ago at ABC 5, and all I can say is it’s gonna be a tough fight since the contestants have their own style of singing. But ever since, I believe Mau has the potential even if she doesn’t have the looks that most viewers want to see on TV. I’ve seen her as she competed with Sarah Geronimo years back.

Are office romances really kept secret?
I was chatting with some lady friends today about someone we knew who was having a “secret†relationship with a colleague. Secret meaning they think nobody knows when in fact, the whole office does. Secret meaning no one should know when in fact everybody does… everybody except the guy’s “official†girlfriend.
The story reminded me of another couple from years back. In fact, it reminded me of several other couples I know who have, at one time or another, indulged in this kind of a hookup. The type which we call office romance. Sometimes they are healthy and welcome, at times they are deceptive and most other times they border on the illicit or immoral.
