Why Pay for Business Networking? Use a Social Network!

Months ago a friend invited me to attend a business networking chapter meeting. I knew not too many details about it, only that it was a very prestigious organization, it would help grow my roster of contacts as a budding entrepreneur, and it would be better to experience firsthand how it worked.

Despite how suspicious it soundedâ€”MLM recruiters don’t divulge anything before the “meeting” and they flatter youâ€”I gave my friend the benefit of the doubt. So what do you do in business networking meetings? Read more to find out.
