It’s Not the End of the World As We Know It

For this blog there will be no such year-ender ritual – not because I didn’t want to but because I caught fever on New Year’s Day. However, Postcard Headlines did have a report of sorts last November when it commemorated its first half-year of blogging.
I hope it’s not a sign of things to come. There are too many things to do other than lying in bed all day. Of course there’s no need to be utterly alarmist. “The end of the world as we know it†is a much-abused phrase by an assortment of personages ranging from so-called environmentalists sounding the alarms on the coming great flood to warmongering neoconservatives warning of the next big terror attack.
