walang lasa ang rice muffins o puto para sa akin. hindi nga, meron ba? hindi ko alam sa dila ninyo pero medyo malaki kasi ang ulo ng mga taste buds ko at ayaw nila ng mga pagkain na walang lasa. maiintindihan ko pa yung mga taong hayok sa kutsintang lasang goodyear at sabaw na lasang burlington pero yung puto na walang lasa? bangag. wala akong natatandaan na may masamang idinulot ang puto sa buhay ko para ayawan ko ito. ang totoo nga niyan, marami akong binigay na pagkakataon sa puto para mapatunyan niya sa akin na masarap siya. naisip ko, baka hindi lang talaga masarap yung pagkakagawa ng puto nung panahon na iyon kaya sinubukan kong maexperience ito sa ibang pagkakataon. after 1 hour–wala, ganun pa rin. lasang puto. walang lasa.
Movie: Desperadas
I couldn’t believe that a lot of young adults would line up at the cinemas just to watch the movie Desperadas. I guess there were not much movies to be seen during the yuletide season since most of them were for the viewing of children. Wait! I am still a child by heart, right?
Anyway, the movies was a little bit patterned after Desperate Housewives but very much Filipino in characters. All the four of them were half sisters. One was trying hard to have an image of still being rich but already in debt. One was trying hard to seduce his too busy husband. One was a sexologist whose domineering attitude turned off her husband. Last was a underwear designer who was about to get married to a recently converted born-again Christian.
Laugh your heart out and enjoy. Warning, not for the conservative type of watchers.

The (Already-Late) Pinoy Blogosphere Weekend Recap (01/07/08)
I know, i know. Posting this post now would not make it a “Weekend” recap anymore. I just didn’t have a chance to post anything yesterday because my cousins and I had the urge to go to Mall of Asia’s Science Discovery Center to celebrate my other cousin’s birthday (He’s 10 years old, BTW).Anyways, here are some of the latest happenings that has happened on the Pinoy blogosphere during the past week:

- The winner of the Marghil Macuha SEO contest has already been announced! Congratulations to Gary Baybayan of ItsonMyTv for winning on the Google leg of the race and to Eli of Everything-Eli for winning on Yahoo.
- Now that the Marghil Macuha SEO contest has been concluded, some of the contestants of the contest shared their valuable techniques in competing with other SEO challengers. Thank you for sharing them with us!

Drawbacks of Bad Posts

Waaa, I’ve been a bad blogger lately. It’s been a long time ago since I posted a good post. I promise to post a good post soon. I have tons of postables posts on Draft mode, I hope I can have time to finish them soon.
Ooops, how about making this post a good post? Nice idea. Just changed the title of this post from “This Blog Needs Good Post” to “Drawbacks of Bad Posts”, FYI.
First, I have to define bad posts on my own unhumble (haha) words. Bad posts are:
- sponsored review posts. Why? Paid reviews are usually sugarcoated posts (in kuya Blogie’s terms). Most of the reviewers doesn’t even have a first-hand exposure to the service or the product.
- posts made just to drive traffic (SEOing for traffic). I’ve created a lot of them: the UPCAT, DLSUCET, ACET and MSU-SASE posts. Even though they’re almost worthless except for the results page link, they generate a lot of hits anyway.
I must admit that at least 10 of my previous posts fit my own definition of a bad post (ang labo ko!). Here are the drawbacks of having crappy posts one after another (based on my own experience):
- Sudden decrease in average visit length. Uhm, it’s obvious. No one would care to stay long to a blog with crap posts.
- Drop of feed subscribers. I used to have 30+ feed subscribers on weekends. When I started posting bad posts, it decreased to 20+. Huhuhu.
