Most mothers are built capable of nurturing and taking care of their families… not all, but most. It is such a stereotype but sometimes I think that genes also have something to do with it.
When a child is sick or sad, mothers are often the first to reach out, hug, comfort. I myself, do not think twice about staying home (instead of going to work) to care for a sick or troubled child.
The Art of Kissing – A Quick Note
I got a copy of “Healthy Options lifestyle news digest†and got into the last page entitled “The Art of Kissingâ€.
It was the first time I found out about the terms for bad kissers – the lizard, the washing machine, the cannibal, the spelunker. I think I have an idea of the first two but the last two? Those were kinda new to me.
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching so it’s about time to improve your kissing skills. On the same article, the following types of kisses were mentioned (lifted by the author from Michael Christian, author of “The Art of Kissingâ€:
– vacuum kiss, sucking the air out of your partner’s mouth,
– neck kiss, kissing up and down your partner’s neck
– and lip-o-suction, kissing the upper lip while your partner kisses the lower lip and reversing.
Now the only problem is with whom would you practice the art before Valentine’s Day?????
Globe is down
Yes, Globe is down and I think most Globe users from Cebu felt it. I don’t know if other areas are affected on this one. I’ve written panaman last time how I love Globe because of the Unlitxt I’ve availed for 3 months now w/o even loading and configuring my # to avail of the Unlitxt service by Globe.
Trinoma Bloggers’ Food Tour gets fritzified
Getting officially invited to the eagerly anticipated TriNoma Blogger Food Tour is the equivalent of a modern day golden ticket to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Imagine being given absolutely free access to try out food from dozens of different food establishments scattered all over TriNoma. I have never seen a smile so wide on Ade’s face in a log time before the food tour so, yeah, it was so awesome it’s still rocking my world up until now.
Apart from letting loose my inner glutton, meeting new people, getting reacquainted with past acquaintances, and spending time with old friends more than completes this rare opportunity. The event was successfully attended by about 150 bloggers.

“Just be creative if you want to highlight your application and get the chance to be interviewed first.†This was my answer to a certain job seekers’ question on how to highlight his application.
There are so many gimmicks you can do just to highlight yourself and your application but please don’t go beyond the extremes to prevent bad impressions.
Follow up by phone. As an example on how to highlight your application is to make a follow up call but this could irritate employers if you keep on calling them about the status of your application. Worst, this approach is totally conventional and could not possibly give you the edge to stand out from the rest of the applicants because of its negative impact to recruiters aside from it’s time consuming entertaining calls in between deadlines.
