An ABC 5 commercial features former ABS-CBN war correspondent Ed Lingao (now Channel 5’s news operations manager) with spiels (this could have been more meaningful if only I remember his exact full lines or embed the actual video):
“Ang tunay na broadcast journalist kinakabahan pero sumusugod pa rin…
…kung wala kang hiya, mahiya ka naman. Kung hindi ka na kinakabahan, matakot ka na.â€
I hope I’m not putting words into Ed’s mouth.
