Food Post #2: Roast Porkchops with Potatoes and Leeks
And so the challenge of coming up with a gourmet meal continues. I came up with something original. One thing I hate is that I don’t have them big white plates for better presentation. Anyway, after several failures and misses in my cooking, I managed to come up with something pleasing to both the eyes and the mouth.
If you’re trying this recipe, please let me know how it turns out in your end. Also, let me know what else can be added to improve the taste.
Brothers and Sisters tv series
Do you watch Brothers and Sisters? I do. Every week I try to catch it on Star World. When the teaser was first aired, I thought the series was too heavy and mushy for my taste. However, for lack of a better show on a tuesday night, I allowed myself to watch it.
Brothers and Sisters is a tv drama about an ordinary American family dealing with everyday family conflicts. These conflicts include a gay brother, a controversial sister, sibling rivalry, dealing with mom, a mistress, sterility, and competition between husbands and wives.
Who Left the Fetus in Malacanang and Why?
Entrecard Credits 101
I’ve been using Entrecard for my two sites and I really find it so cool because it gave me FREE traffic. Well of course it’s not totally FREE since you have to work your ass for it. But the thing is if you’ve exploited other possibilities using Entrecard credits you’ll get the most out of it. In fact you can convert real cash using EC.
Below are the most common strategies being used by others and me on how to get more EC’s and use it to boost ones traffic and convert them into real cash. If you have good stuffs in mind, please feel free to add it here. And BTW, I’ll be providing tips on how to convert EC’s into real cash without selling them for $$$ on my next article. Although you can do that of course but it’s up to you.

Fuzion Smoothie Cafe
Many of us have probably encountered fusion cuisine even if most of the time we are unaware of it. It is especially true these days when there is pressure to come up with something new or reinvent the classics with the hopes of enticing the taste buds of discriminating diners.
Fusion cuisine refers to dishes made with ingredients, tools and techniques that come from different places or countries in the world. An example would be something like BBQ chicken topped pizza or deep fried california maki.
Help the Children, Help the World!
MoveOn Philippines, a non-profit charitable organization based in Florida and aims to provide educational tools for poor children in the Philippines, will be hosting a Dinner/Dance Party in Florida on March 1, 2008 at 6pm at the Bethelite Conference Center (5865 Arlington Expressway) in Jacksonville Florida.
KASILA* is a fundraising activity that supports education in the Philippines’ most marginalized areas and encourages transformation of communities ravaged by poverty and conflict into peaceful, progressive, and empowered stakeholders in equitable development.
Through these programs, Move on Philippines contributes to international efforts to address high illiteracy and drop-out rates, improve learning of math, science and the English language particularly at the elementary level, and address special problems in the conflict-affected areas.
Proceeds from the KASILA Fundraiser will be used to fund programs that increase access to quality education in areas most affected by poverty and/or conflict.
* “Kasila†is a Maguindanaon term for chilli pepper. It describes the piquant burning taste of life’s experiences for many children in poor areas of the Philippines. Many of these children go to school hungry, walk to and from school for several miles on foot, and do not have adequate books and learning materials.
You might be wondering why we’re promoting it here when the dinner/dance is in Florida. Well even if you’re in the Philippines or in any part of the world, you can still help out by purchasing a ticket (or two or more if you’re generous enough) to the event. Tickets cost only $35.oo and that will go a long way. You may also opt to donate to the charity instead of purchasing tickets (tax-deductible for US citizens). Continue Reading >>>
A Night with My Chemical Romance

The quintet band, My Chemical Romance, has just wrapped up their concert at the Fort Bonifacio Open Fields in Taguig City last night, January 25. It was a blast and I never thought it would turn out to be a really great show. After school, I hurriedly went home to take a rest for few minutes and to get my camera.
