On Laziness, Forgetfulness, and Crafting
I stayed at Level 16 for a while now because, as I’ve said previously, I have been procrastinating. Also, there was that mad feeling of powertripping on little monsters (levels 1-7) and collecting dropped items and yuan (our money here at Perfect World). It gives a most satisfying feeling, knowing that they can’t boss me around anymore, when they used to scare me to death.

But then, I realized I’ve wasted valuable time already (though it wasn’t really a waste of time, as I was able to collect a lot of items for crafting and yuan). So, I went to the Wingkin Ascetic who lived in White Mountain, a quest that was given to me by the Feather City Priest. My mission was to convince the Wingkin Ascetic to go back to Feather City to join with Mankind to fight the Soulless. When I got there, though, the ascetic told me that I needed to finish a certain quest before she tells me who I should bring back to Feather City instead of her, as she had sworn never to join forces with Mankind, a sworn enemy, whose people had been the cause of her children’s deaths. In the quest she gave me, I have to kill 20 Forest Lynx Kings, which could be found around Nanping Hill, and report back. I thought it was easy, as White Mountain is very near Nanping Hill. However, I ran into trouble when I was looking for the damn monsters. I’ve went around Nanping Hill twice and still I haven’t seen any Forest Lynx Kings. There were only Silk Hoppers, Evil Wolves, and some other higher level monsters. Where the fck am I going to look for them?
