The Speaker is in deep sh*t. But is he?
Lakas-CMD and KAMPI are two of the major coalitions in the Senate; Lakas is JDV’s and the other is PGMA’s. JDV and Lakas have sustained PGMA’s insatiable bid for power since impeachment and corruption charges have been filed against her since I think 2004. And now this brouhaha in Senate.
I’m not sure what this means exactly, if this ‘reform’ in the speakership is indeed for the people and not for the trapos who thrive restlessly in the upper spheres of power. Rep. Nograles isn’t any better than JDV, in fact, he’s been JDV’s No.2 man for a long time: both have been shielding PGMA and both have been showered by favorable positions.
JDV knows too much of the current administration’s dirt and that I think is one of the reasons why PGMA’s camp isn’t in full swing yet. Just like Joey, would JDV tell on PGMA and her cohorts’ malpractices and corruptions if he gets the boot? But then again, even if the Speaker would expose every bad thing he knows about his former friends, I don’t think any of those revelations would surprise us. Maybe we’ll be saying, “Sabi na nga ba eh!†instead of having our eyes pop out in utter disbelief.
The 100 Best Works of Fiction
Halfway through Cervantes’ Don Quixote – at last done with its voluminous first part – I’m now putting the book down to read the equally voluminous second part for a later time.
I’ve began reading Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment again, starting where I left it unfinished two years ago. And I also plan to try reading Tolstoy’s War and Peace again (in the not so near future that is!).
Interestingly, the three are part of the 100 best works of fiction as determined from a vote by 100 noted writers from 54 countries and listed in a Norwegian Book Club report.
The Enlightenment Quest
At Level 19, I received the Enlightenment Quest from the Mangmang Taoist (322 421) and was instructed to rescue the Human Rou Zhi from the Hardback Tapir and its horse, which ran off to the West of the Carefree River. Â
I flew patiently towards the coordinates 281, 490, which is at the very high, dreary, and scary Swan Mountain, looking for a “human†that seemed to be imprisoned by a Hardback Tapir. When I got to the exact place, I couldn’t see anyone! So, who am I supposed to rescue and where is he?
Turned out that I wasn’t really supposed to “rescue†anyone.
As a Vlogger, Why I Ditched The Pinoy Tube
I don’t remember now how long ago it was when I found The Pinoy Tube, a video sharing site very much like You Tube, but geared for Filipinos. At least that’s what I thought it was at the time. I think when I first found the site it was still new because there were only a handful of people who were members. There was an extraordinary amount of porn, but I did notice that their porn was limited to the Adult category. There were plenty other categories like Community, Comedy, DIY, News, animation and so on.
So I joined, and made videos specially for The Pinoy Tube and placed them on the Community Channel, believing that one day it would become like a true community sharing site, very much like You Tube. They even featured my first video, which demonstrated my pleasant surprise at finding a Pinoy You Tube. I got a lot of views on my videos, which was great. I believed, perhaps naively, that once the site got popular, the porn videos will get edged out.

Time and again, we use the word “woohoo†in conveying extreme happiness more often than not in online interaction. We use the word habitually but it appears as if we really do not know why we use it. An ordinary man in ordinary instances would think of it as some sort of weird yahoo. An obsessed “The Sims†gamer would consider it as a word pertaining to sex.
Where did this globally-used word really come from? What is its sense? Does the word really have a sexual undertone or is it just a mere expression of ecstasy?
Maybe the word really implies sex or perhaps it’s really just a mere term for bliss. But the real question is “Is that it?â€
Boring, Boring and Boring Monday…
It is indeed a very boring day for me.. Walang magawa.. although workloads and deadlines are just around the corner, still I’m not in the mood to do what I’m paid to do and finish my assigned task… Hayyyy.. Well, Monday nga naman.. The busiest day sa week kaso di ko na feel Kc I’m having trouble delivering the goods to my client. Client got lots of things to do on his part so what’s left for me is to update the integrated system and fix some photos of my clients. After which uploaded it to this not-so competitive web app. 
Where To Get Quality Contents
Essay writing has never been easy for a student or for anyone who wants to write something to be presented to an audience. In fact, blogging also is not that easy since it involves a lot of writing and passion. One could never write a pillar article if it’s not your passion to write or if you’re not at home writing about the subject matter. This is also the reason why only a few percentage of the total computer literate population joined the bandwagon of blogging, for a fact also that they’re really not adept in writing and they don’t have the passion of certain subject matters. And, if one attempts to join the bandwagon most likely his/her web log is not that updated.
