EDSA People Power: Forgetting and Remembering

February 25 marks the anniversary of People Power. History has its own ways of remembering the forgotten and forgetting the remembered, with the latter doing more damage than doing any good while appeasing those who refuse to unearth the dirt and grime of their deeds. While EDSA remains the modern epitome of the classic tale of the warring worlds of ancient civilizations, much of EDSA is remembered, at least today, through the biggest political disappointment the Philippines has ever had.
