Too bad. It is because of moderate greed that Jun Lozada is now being ‘investigated’ for charges of corruption and nepotism by the powers-that-be. The Palace has already denounced claims that the investigation is their form of ganti for being dragged into the ZTE Scandal by the Pinoy Jedi Knight’s testimony.  Amidst constant pressure and chilling threats to his and to his family’s safety, Lozada is still willing to continue appearing before the Senate on Monday, where he will he accompanied by his elder sister, Carmen, to testify that the PNP had forced her to sign the affidavit seeking security for her brother.

The DOJ (and I think from the Office of the Ombudsman as well) had issued a search warrant for Lozada’s former company, Philforest, to secure documents and financial statements that would ‘check’ Lozada’s credibility and sense of morality.  Philforest officer-in-charge Erwin Krishna Santos said that he handed the documents to the officer who came to their office willingly. Lozada is now on the defense as his personal life is appearing in full view of the public.
