Another Virginia Tech in the making.. last 2-3 hours ago a gunman has stormed a college campus (Northern Illinois University) and begun shooting. At least 18 people were shot mostly in the head Thursday at Northern Illinois University’s DeKalb campus outside Chicago, then fatally shot himself, Northern Illinois University officials said, citing police.The shooter, dressed in black, walked out from behind a screen in a geology class taking place in 600-seat lecture hall and opened fire, NIU president John Peters said during a 6:30 p.m. ET press conference.
