My sister in law is moving and looking for the best mortgage deals that she can get. Â She has the house picked out and now needs the best 30 fixed with no added cost. Good thing that i came across this site called Fool.co.uk – the best uk mortgage that can help her. So what seems to be the meaning of mortgage?

AÂ mortgage is an essential financial service provider to the people of UK in respect to their housing needs. It is a business not only to make profits. Lenders must have good corporate and social responsibility. It is win,win business for the Lenders and their customers. The main types of mortgages for UK market are “Repayment” means each month you pay the interest plus some of the original loan/capital. As years go by the amount of loan outstanding reduces. This type is quite popular. Second is “Interest only” – means each month you pay back only the interest. The company loaning the money will normally ask for you to have a separate savings plan or investment plan to repay the original loan – but not always, some let you pay interest only and in 10, 25 years, or whatever the term, you can sell the property and pay back the loan, remortgage, etc. This type of loan has the lowest monthly outgoings … but your loan never reduces in value.
