Looking back: Putting a stop to the craving

Anyone would think that I stopped smoking because of Warren.
Well, wrong.
When I first met my husband, I smoked like a train. Stick, after stick, after stick, after stick… He stared at me wide eyed but he was powerless to put a stop to it. I stood there with that smirk on my face and stared at him like I was daring him to do just that – stop me. And wipe that smirk off my face. Just try.
But he did not, maybe because he did not know how and because I was not his girlfriend yet at that time.
