An Apple a Day

I started writing when I was 8. My mom got me a journal where I could rant (prob so I won’t be an annoying brat). I stopped writing for 8 years until the pen and then later on the keyboard called on me again. I blog because I like writing and that’s just about it.

And as Bugs Bunny said, “Do not take life seriously. After all, no one has ever come out of it alive.” Bite the apple!

The Messenger for Truth

After being tagged as the NBN-ZTE Star Witness and Pinoy Jedi Knight, Lozada is now regarded as THE MESSENGER OF TRUTH. At least to Sen. Pimentel that is.

Lozada’s crusade for the Truth has continued on to Cebu where he will do his usual routine of touring colleges and universities and other publicity stints. These days, I’m not sure exactly what Lozada is going around the country for: for Truth, for Justice, for People Power or for PGMA’s resignation. These may sound the same but actually they’re not.

When Lozada is for the TRUTH, to me that means calling for Neri et.al to come out and tell all. Never mind their fishy and muddy background, just tell all to convict the masterminds, we’ll worry about sending them to courts and forgiving them later. I mean, look at Lozada: he admitted he’s involvement and now, we’ve forgiven him. Well, not entirely because I still want to put him on trial for those anomalous deals he did while CEO for PhilForest. That’s fair right? Erap, who never admitted to anything except being played for by his enemies, has even been given a pardon. See? That’s how forgiving and forgetful we are.

Being In Love – Part 4

“I really like you.” Online Buddy says.

“Huh? Why?”

“I don’t know. You’re different. You laugh at my bad jokes and you’re funny.”

“I like you too. When you make your bad jokes, my jokes actually become decent.”

A pause. He probably was snickering on his end. Or giggling.

Working Out Hurts

I’m a health freak, but only do exercises whenever I feel like it, or when I find spare time to do it.

Last Sunday, I was bored out of my mind and didn’t want to write the articles that I needed to, so I picked up my brother’s 12.5-pound dumbbell and started working out with it. The dumbbell had a total of 7.5 pounds on it, but the bar was as heavy as five pounds.

Jun Lozada Goes to Cebu

Jun Lozada will be going to our college today here in Cebu to speak on the NBN-ZTE deal. I can’t attend the said forum. Still, for those who are interested, it will be held this 3PM at the University of the Philippines (UP) Cebu College Conference Hall.

Updated March 17, 2008 10:30 PM: One of the organizers of the forum in the UP Cebu told me that the crowd was relatively large in spite of the fact that most students were either taking exams or heading back to the provinces for the holy week. The students were generally receptive to the affair. The conference hall, which can accodomate 250 people, was filled at maximum capacity.

However, Lozada’s scheduled talk in the University of San Carlos (USC) this morning was not as welcoming. Earlier this evening, I attended my philosophy student friend Dada’s graduation party in White Gold House and was able to talk to some students who were present in Lozada’s USC forum.

From Mrs Anita Adams

ATTN:DEAREST ONE OF GOD
I am the above named person from Kuwait. I am married to Mr Adams Johnson, who worked with Kuwait embassy in Ivory Coast for nine years before he died in the year 2004. We were married for eleven years without a child. He died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days.

Before his death we were both born again Christian. Since his death I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the Bible is against. When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of $2. 5 Million (Two Million Five Hundred U.S. Dollars) in the bank here in Abidjan in suspense account.

Presently, the fund is still with the bank. Recently, my Doctor told me that i have serious sickness which is cancer problem. The one that disturbs me most is my stroke sickness. Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to a church or individual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct herein. I want a church that will use this fund for orphanages, widows, propagating the word of God and to endeavour that the house of God is maintained.

Being In Love – Part 3

Well, I thought she and I were going to be friends, she even sent me friend requests on MySpace and Friendster, but who knows, maybe she just wanted to snoop on my profiles, but I don’t really give out information about myself like that, especially on the Internet. Oh well, like I really care. I have a far better life without him and her in my life. A much much better life.
