My Ganglion Cyst Is Back
I think it was last, last week that I noticed that my left wrist was again aching. It freaked me out to notice that there was a small bump near my surgery scar. Over the weekend, it was gone. To my disappointment, this week it’s back again and it’s gaining size. Nooooooooo! Not again!

Being In Love – Part 2
Now why would I want to get back with someone who did nothing but harm and abuse me? How can I still say that I love him? I thought being in love’s supposed to be a happy thing and not so hurtful.

Bloggers’ Mini EB in Cebu Recap!
It was great getting to meet everybody for the first time. I was kinda hesitant about the place, because it was about a hundred meters away from the main road, and I do not like walking in stilettos for too long. I’m used to high heels, but I mean, walking on rough road in them? Not easy. Anyway, the meeting was at 3PM at Brews Point. Francis aka blurem23 was there first, and Rodel and IÂ got there at the same time and went in together.

The Perfect Gift
I always found books to be the perfect gift for any occasion. Books, a National Book Development Board survey finding reveals, are considered to be good gifts by Filipinos.
Keeping up with this tradition, I gave my favorite younger sister a book for her birthday yesterday. Alya Simone is now fifteen. I handed her The Fifth Mountain, which I bought from Beryl, since she always professed love for the writings of Paulo Coelho – one the most popular writers today.

Pacquiao – Marquez II Match Live
A few hours from now, the much awaited rematch will start. A lot of people (including myself) is waiting for this unfortunately for me, tickets at SM Cinemas are already sold out and SkyCable’s PPV offering is too expensive for me (Php 2000 plus!).

With your high speed Internet and with the power of P2P, you can watch the match for free. You can now watch it using Sopcast and TVU.
Pacman and (Momentary) Peace
Apparently, Manny Pacquiao can not only pound the jaws of his worthy opponents. He, too, can put the Armed Forces of the President to a grinding halt, fanning-off the forces’ smoking artilleries and arteries of weeks, months and years of warmoningering into a momentous silence. His slated clash with Marquez today will write history, yet again. Who would’ve thought that the political cleavage splicing and dicing the right and left, the pros and the antis, the government soldiers and the armed rebels can momentarily be bridged by a boxer-turned-recording-artist short of being a politician, at least in theory though therein lies a daub of practice there, too. If Manny Pacquiao can hold on to dear life battling, pounding skin and bones, toiling sweat and blood for all the rest of his life, who knows how the rest of the warmongerers would react to that. We may have an eternal peace. Then again, we don’t have to sacrifice the heart of a champion before the altar of momentary peace if only we’re more than willing to permanently seal the callous bloodshed somewhere north, somewhere south, and somewhere in between.
