No Bayani Fernando Billboards In Makati City
Latest update with Bayani Fernando’s mega billboards in EDSA. Apparently in Makati City, Mayor Jejomar Binay has ordered the dismantling of MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando’s billboard. I also received comments that BF’s billboards in Buendia as well in Pasay City are already dismantled. Mayors of the said cities are from the opposition. Does this mean that administration Mayors would continue to tolerate Bayani Fernando’s wrong doing?
Still with blog comments from my other article in Pinoy Blogosphere, I received alarming comments from a supporter of Bayani Fernando. Here are the commments:

The Pregnant Man Is A Filipino
After Thomas Beati guested in the Oprah Winfrey Show, the world was shocked and amazed with the pregnancy of a female transgender with a male persona now. Thomas Beati, 34, is a Filipino-American born and raised in Hawaii. Thomas Beati also known as Tracy Lagondino when he was female had decided to do the big change when he was 25 years old but did not undergo sex change. He had only had chest reconstruction and took male hormones.

Me on Grace Talk Soup?
Me, on Grace Talk Soup? I could not believe it, but yes, and I am soooo thrilled!
In between blanching the broccoli and grilling the baby back ribs, my eyes would dart to the laptop and my fingers would be, figuratively speaking, itching to type this post… I could not wait long enough to have the time to sit and start announcing to the whole world about the invitation I received from Jojo Tabares this morning.
I was reading KC Concepcion’s blog (well, I do read local celebrity articles, too, and it’s fun!) which I stumbled upon at Clare’s when an email alert popped up on my screen.
Ms Gay Philippines 2008
When I was a young boy, I was so scared of trannies. I don’t know why but I really was. However, over the years, I have learned to understand them in the same why that I understand my sexuality. And now, I don’t just understand them, I appreciate them and am proud of them.
One of the reasons why I’m proud of them is gay beauty pageants. It is quite sad that many people automatically think of question and answer boo-boos whenever the term “gay beauty pageant” is mentioned. However, what I’ve noticed is that our transsexual and/transvestite sistahs who join beauty pageants are getting more and more intelligent. All the more reason to be proud of the T in LGBT!
George, one of our readers from England, asked us if we were gonna cover the Miss Gay Philippines 2008 pageant. Ironically, I did not anything about the pageant had George not sent me an email about it. So I did some research online but most of the search results pointed to websites of gay beauty pageant boo-boos.
Apparently, the contest Miss Gay Philippines is on its 29th Continue Reading this entry– »

American Idol Voting
American Idol is an alright show. If I get to watch it by chance, then I watch it. But not that really into the hype. That’s because reality shows that decide the winner based on a large percentage through text votes is not convincing to me.
The Bataan Death March, Story of a Survivor
It was December 1941. Eight-year old Romy was in the two-story house where he and his family lived in the US military compound in Fort McKinley (now known as the Fort Bonifacio Global City). He couldn’t go out and play with his four brothers as was natural for little boys. Outside, bombs and firearms were exploding. A few day ago, on December 8, 1941, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and ten hours after that, Clark Airfield, in Pampanga, Philippines. World War II had begun and it had come to the shores of the Philippines and the country was under attack by the invading Japanese troops.
Buenaventura, Romy’s father, gathered his wife and his five sons. He was already in his battle gear uniform. He told his family that they had to evacuate to his hometown in Lian, Batangas because Manila was under siege and declared an open city.
“But Papa,” Romy said, “how are we going back to Lian? There are no buses or cars to take us. And how about the baby?”
“Your uncle Tio Pito and your cousin Kuya Tino have come to fetch you,” answered Buenaventura. “I have managed to find a taxi to bring all of you. You will be safe in Lian.”
