Save! Save! Save!

I’ve heard from Human’s discussions with the Booming Human that there’s been increasing food prices in many places and that there are many who couldn’t afford their food anymore, like in a far, far, far away place called Haiti that there are even sporadic wars fought just because people can’t eat anymore.

If people ran out of food, then hamsters can do too! Though, I can’t imagine any hamster not being able to have their bowl of carrots and lettuce in a day. That is so sad.

So, being a hamster with a social conscience, I, too, will do my share in this kind of situation:

On the Road to Sihanoukville for Khmer New Year

It’s another long weekend for us (five days, to be exact) with the entire country of Cambodia celebrating Khmer New Year. We left scorching hot Phnom Penh yesterday, for Sihanoukville, Cambodia’s beach town which is about 220 km. away, driving on National Road No. 4. Most Cambodians were also traveling with us on the road as they all wanted to go home to their provinces to join the festivities for this important Cambodian holiday. We saw some of them in this market waiting for a ride.

They crammed themselves and all their belongings in any vehicle they could get hold on like this cart which is pulled by a single moto (motorcycle).

Clubbin’ Scene in Taiwan!

Here is a video on clubbing in Taiwan. The video isn’t funny at
all – it features people, mostly girls, clubbin’ the night away.

The music is great and the scene is just awesome!
And I kid you not!

The humorous thing about this was how i found it.
More than a year ago, I was searching online for info about the
state of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry – and the vid came on
top of my search results! And I kid you not!

Hope you enjoy it, friends!
Much thanks for looking, everyone!

Second of a series: A doubtful heart

It took me a while to realize that what is “small and petty” in my eye is “big and bold” in the eye of the Lord. When I thought I was simply being a brat, stomping my feet and insisting on “logic and reason”, I was actually committing the one sin that God hated the most – idolatry.

Instead of me submitting to my husband at that moment and agreeing with what he said, I turned away and made my own “little scene”…
