Do Not Bring Us to The Test
That was just a line from the Lord’s Prayer (modern version).
I had an interesting sermon from a visitor priest in one of the churches that I regularly visit. There was an interesting snippet that I liked remembering.
On my own words, he said that:
A person’s way of thinking about every other bad thing that happens to them is the testing of the Lord is actually bad thinking… The line in the Lord’s Prayer: ‘Do not bring us to the test,’ means that we don’t want any testing or any humps on the way by God.
Choosing Nutritional Supplement That Works
One of the biggest problems in the nutritional supplement industry is companies claiming benefits for their products based on the ingredients, not the product. To put it another way, the ingredients in a product are not the same as the product. Or another way of putting it, once a product is processed and sold, the nutrients could be gone.
It is very important that you look at the specific product you are considering purchasing, not at the ingredients in the product. For example, one of the popular health beverages on the market today is the goji juice drink. There is science and evidence to suggest that goji is beneficial to health, but that does not mean that any particular goji product is helpful. One goji product maker, FreeLife Int, has released a study demonstrating the benefits of their product (GoChi), though. This is the kind of scientific study that matters the most – a study that shows the benefits of a particular product, not just the ingredients in the product. Next time you buy a nutritional supplement, look for science and research on that specific product, not just on the ingredients in the product.
