Pinoy What’s Holding You Back from Making Money?

According to my own observation, Pinoys are the hardest ones to convince that they can make money online. My free advertisement over at Sulit.com.ph bear witness to that. If you look at the comments posted by other members about my PTC ad, you will notice that their question are mostly in this sense, “Do you really earn money from that?” I somehow get tired of saying “Yes.” Although most of my referrals from Dailyclicks came from Sulit, only 3 out of 20 of them are active clickers.

I also noticed that the ones who have the urge to ask a lot of questions about the possibilities of earning money online are the ones who are most likely to quit clicking early on. The answer on why they quit too early, is maybe because they want to earn quick money, so the idea of clicking for 1 cent doesn’t fancy their interest. Their usual complain is – the earning is too low and it’s so hard to get referrals. While the ones who don’t ask too much question and just sign-up from the jump are the ones silently clicking their way until they reach their payout.

Goodbye High School; Hello err.. College!?

I’m so not into high school drama. But of course, being a regular high school student, it makes me a part of it no matter how I try to hide from the soap opera. High school life is mostly referred to by some as “the best part of your life”.

Honestly, I can’t say that it is the case for me. Why? I’m not a very intelligent person as what my parents believed I am. Though I was quite fortunate because I belong to the NODE section in our school

On social and political change

By Alvin d. C. Lopez
The Pelican Spectator

In one end I may advocate the ideals of federalism, but it is a self-serving purpose to push charter change forward without considering the consequences following its ratification. There is even an ever-present danger that the resolution is set in motion not because of urgent need, but because it is principally a creation of some personal interests.

Even though it has passed twenty-one years since its approval the 1987 Constitution is still in the stage of infancy, and there may come a time that it will per se realize its vulnerability and tolerance to corruption, and hence be amended to expediently curtail any abuse of wealth and power. It took many nations’ constitutions to attain aptness in close proximity, but none has ever been perfect. However in the Philippines it seems that only the character of the leaders complements the effectiveness of the basic law of the land.READ MORE

[Notable Posts #5] Banner Ad, Compute, Heroes, Mean

You might want to read the following notable posts from notable blogs of notable pinoy bloggers… :)

Online banner ad market for blogs slowing down?

Red Sight Media hasnt been active with their stable of publishers (i hate that 90 day payment terms ugh), Mad Crowd has also been silent (youre the first one out, show bloggers that you have the legs to stand up in this industry) and while BlogBank has one active advertiser, it pales to the reported tons of potential deals closed.

It doesn’t compute

The abstract problem, after all, has a pretty big consensus behind it: that it exists, and that what exists is a political system out of whack because society’s out of whack. Can you nudge it back into shape? There’s the rub.

Filipino Bloggers: Silent New Heroes Of The Philippines

But think of this, bloggers around the world are not just simple journalists of today’s cyber generation. They don’t just provide informations over the internet… they service lives and their country. Filipino bloggers are also the same.

The Mean-spirited Commenter and Blogger

Do you think these mean-spirited last long in the blogosphere? (By definition, mean-spirited means Having or characterized by a malicious or petty spirit.) Unless they have nothing better to do, have lots of energy and motivation behind them, the mean spirits tend to fizzle out one day.

Movie: Iron Man

Tony Starks is a genius in making missiles. He developed the Jericho missiles which were very powerful. He was abducted by some terrorists who forced him to create missiles for them. Instead, he developed his first Iron Man armor using the weaponry stacked by these terrorists. He was able to escape and got back to the city. Before he left, he saw the scientist who revived his heart and helped him build the suit.

He had a change of heart and became more responsible. He perfected his armor and fought back the terrorists. His heart gadget was stolen and was used by his father’s friend to build an Iron Man suit which hit him hard. The gadget was able to power the enemy’s suit more than his old one.

Of course in the end, he was able to defeat the villain. In the end, he admitted being the Iron Man. Question is …. is there a sequel or none?
