How many children do you really want? If money, space, and time were no object, how many children would you want to have?
I have always felt that the ideal was to have one boy and one girl child in the family. For many years, I harbored a strong desire to be blessed with a girl. In fact, we all thought (my OB-Gyne included) that my eldest would be a girl – after 3 ultrasounds confirmed it. I had a name and a plan which was shattered when I was presented with a baby boy while I was strapped at the table in the hospital’s delivery room. I must confess that my first reaction was more – huh? I know I have a girl – than the delayed happiness I truly felt.

Last May 2, fresh from the NAIA Centennial Airport, I went straight to the office to go to work. I promised my boss to return that’s why even I was feeling off and my mind was still on a vacation frenzy, I still went to work. I first dropped by SM MegaMall to buy my lunch then just ate at my desk.
While I was on my way to the airport, I edited the resignation letter I asked from my friend. Right after I finished my lunch, I started typing my resignation letter and just made some minor revisions since I find my resignation letter very straightforward. Before I passed my resignation letter to my boss, I asked the opinion of my online friends if it’s okay already and if there are revisions that I should do. Most of them gave their approval.

Last Friday on our flight home to Manila, I was reading the Inquirer with Bayani Fernando on the news article. The article has something to do with his well-criticized MMDA billboards. He again insisted that there’s nothing wrong with his huge billboards in EDSA. Even it is clear to the public that it is illegal use of public funds. Do you think Filipinos are dumb to accept your billboards? What good did it do to the Filipinos? Clearly none. It’s just plain campaigning for your political dream in 2010.
What’s more disgusting with Bayani Fernando was his comment that it shouldn’t be thought of as campaigning since he is not smiling in his billboards. Great answer right? Nah!

Last Sunday, I got to watch the welcome party of Heart Evangelista on SOP on our way to SM Southmall. It was freaky to watch Heart Evangelista on a different channel. She looked very “masa” on GMA. Her welcome party in SOP was also disappointing. It looked unprepared and weren’t thought of. What’s more funny was their video message to Heart Evangelista. GMA’s artists like Paulene Luna, German Moreno, Richard Gutierrez and Caridad Sanchez welcomed her as a “Kapuso.” Now I wonder who are the big stars of GMA 7.
