Apparently we’re stuck in the 3rd century.

you are dead wrong. you should be afraid.
1. you clearly blasphemed the attributes of Christ by saying He tolerates sin
2. we Christians are called to contend for the faith (Jude 3).
3. defending the truth is not a necessary pattern to be like the Kastila. nowhere in the scripture you will find such claim. its a clear command.
4. your phrase:
“…I will continue to respect and tolerate people, and I will be accountable to God.”…
