American Idol Top 3 Performance Night
I was really excited to watch the American Idol top 3 performance. I’m glad I was on time to watch it. The first round of the competition, the finalists performed songs from the judge’s choice. David Archuleta started the show followed by Syesha Mercado and David Cook. According to Simon Cowell, the David Cook won the first round but I think David Archuleta did better. Syesha Mercado surprisingly greatly improved and she was stunning. She looked like a star.

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo had announced the 20 pesos wage rise on
Thursday and the central bank has said the size of the increase was within its inflation assumptions.
Ciriaco Lagunzad, executive director of the National Wages and Productivity Commission, said the increase in the Manila minimum wage, seen as a benchmark for the country, would comprise a 15 pesos increase in wages plus a 5 peso cost of living allowance.
Another Season of Great Movies
Ok I admitted it – I’m an addict…in movies! This season we will witness great line up of movies such as comic book movies including The Dark Knight, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and Hellboy 2. Then there are the TV adaptations, like Get Smart, Sex & The City and Speed Racer. And of course don’t forget Indiana Jones, Prince Caspian, Wall E, Kung Fu Panda and The Forbidden Kingdom.
Based on an international reviews, the most anticipated are Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; The Dark Knight which features Heath Ledger as The Joker; Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince; Wall E; Iron Man; Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian; and the return of Agent 007 in Quantum of Solace.

Lakers – wins its series against the Jazz and went on to the Western Conference Finals. Kobe Bryant led his team with 34 points and the rest of the team contributed as 6 Lakers is in double figures. The Lakers will face the winner of Hornets-Spurs Series.

to win this postseason. Especially when playing in the unfriendly confines of Utah’s EnergySolutions Arena, where the Jazz were 4-1 in the playoffs before Friday and a staggering 37-4 in the regular season.
Parents board flight, forget toddler at airport
OTTAWA, May 13, 2008 (AFP) – Tickets, check. Passports, check. Luggage, check. Baby … oops.
A family boarded a flight on Monday in westernmost Canada, and forgot their tot at the Vancouver international airport, media said Tuesday.
The 23-month-old boy’s family had just arrived in Canada from the Philippines, but they were forced to repack their overweight bags before catching a connecting flight to Winnipeg, causing them to run late.
In their sprint to the gate, the family became separated.
The boy’s father Jun Parreno, told local media he had thought his son was with his wife and the boy’s grandparents, who ran ahead. They thought the boy was with his dad.
On the plane, the family members were seated separately and so did not immediately realize they had left the child behind.
