I have been seeing this TV commercial in Channel News Asia for a long time. And I must admit that it is my favorite commercial since we only have one channel in our TV. It is a TV commercial from an insurance company. Just watch and be amazed with their concept. I just love this commercial.

Iba ang kain pag kanin - Chowking bloggers event “Chao fan style”
June 27, 2008
Thanks to Yehey.com and Chowking for inviting us again for another learning experience in eating rice. Yes! Burger now is out! and the rice still rules our tummy! “Iba ang kain pag kanin” means “Eating is different when it comes to rice”. is a cute and catchy subtitle for the Chowking Chao Fan rice meal and at the bloggers event last Wednesday at Chowking, Eastwood City, we learn that the Chao Fan rice price drops down, and because of the crisis mania we keep on hearing in the news lately, I’m glad that our fast food resto like Chowking are now dropping their price for the Chao Fan meal.
also got a love at first sight moment with the Chao Fan spicy, its a fried rice with lots of spices and I enjoy the taste of it, and it says bye bye already to other rice meal like the pork and beef chao fan.
The Extra feeling at Italianni’s (Bloggers event)
June 27, 2008
I was invited to come and attend for an Italianni’s special extra treat last week and I just experience a one of kind event that they will serve an extra something for your extra time while waiting for your big meal at Italianni’s .
Even that arrived minutes late at the Bonifacio High Street, I just got in time for the extra gimik that Italianni’s launch it that day. They will serve some extra food for you! And as a customer, I know everyone will be happy to get a free extra food or something you want to add more extra in your meal.

First Love
June 27, 2008
High school, they say, is the most enjoyable part of the education process. Well, if acne, armpit odor, newfound pubic hair, and insecurity appeal to you. Of course, we’ve all encountered this precarious stage. For me to be able to blog about it as I’m actually going through the process is exhilarating (as weird as that may sound).
High school is also where most people meet their first love. Many will argue that they met theirs in elementary. I maintain that love is improbable to find in those younger days. You’re too immature to differentiate infatuation and love, and too stupid to make a move. High school–which coincides with the onset of adolescence–means the development of your adult emotions. Your libido stirs. Suddenly the bathroom is more than a place for pooping and showering. You become explorative in many ways.
You fall in love.
That is every person’s tragedy.

Making breads in easy way
June 26, 2008
How many times have you heard people say that they can’t stop eating bread or cakes? June 26, 2008
I’ve been joining blog carnivals recently, and right now my article is being featured in one: How to Make Money Doing What You Love Carnival. Do you know why? Blog Carnivals have the power to help your blog in many ways. It will give your blog exposure to more audience, new subscribers, traffic, that much needed deep link to one of your articles, and increased ranking in both Google and Technorati. What’s a blog carnival?
To those who haven’t heard of the term yet, a blog carnival is a particular kind of blog community where permalinks (or links) to posts of blogs are submitted, collected, and published at a specific date. The posts submitted are usually based on a certain topic or theme. The host of a carnival publishes the collected links with its title, author and description in his/her blog on the specified date of its publishing (usually the deadline of submissions). To get a better idea of what a blog carnival is really about, take a look at blog carnival’s FAQs.
How to join blog carnivals?
Blog carnivals don’t require registration. All you need is a link to the post that you have published already and an email where you’ll receive a form that says you’ve submitted a post to this carnival and the details of the said carnival.

Filipinos in Singapore
June 26, 2008
Monday, I was feeling homesick and I was totally bored. I have decided to email the recruitment agency to make a follow up on the status of my employment pass. Right after I emailed her, she contacted me twice to inform me that I have passed. She also told me that I could come in their office for my medical examination. I have asked on how much it will cost and she told me that it is more than 40 SGD.

Crossfire
June 25, 2008
Gunshots.
I heard them in the distance. The consistent rattling of machine guns and explosion of cannons filled my heart with trepidation, but I knew I had no other choice. I took the earthen jar in the kitchen and started on my way, knowing that this day could be my last.
I heard an explosion from afar. The suicide bombers must have struck again. I whispered a prayer to Allah. Guide me. Don’t let me die. I continued to tread the dusty path, every second anticipating a sudden explosion or rainfall of bullets. Thankfully, there was none. For the time being, at least.
My hand was getting weary from carrying the enormous jar. I set it on the ground, eager to get some rest. Sweat was collecting on my eyebrow, and my forehead was drenched. I knew it would be hours before I could return home. My son was surely already thirsty, and I hoped my sister had arrived so he wouldn’t be alone. I decided it would be best if I continued on my way already so I could get back home soonest.
